amazing that you guys haave plyers like longergan, gamble, stoe taylor et al.. that add scoring pressure. essendon of 01 never had it.
i have to say off the top of my head essendon would be top 3. only cuz of lloyds injury. gave lucas, hird, monfries ect a more focused role in fwd line...
if...
good thought....... i would love to know who would go where if the old recuriting zones were still working. maybe someone can research or start a thread. IE, scott west would be a bomber, as would craig bradley, but that is a differnt talk for a differnt thread

very unrearshed... sure i missed some biggies
personally i dont think we need mckinley. im sure he will turn out to be a solid player, but we have lloyd and lucas for a few more years. we will also have the problem of trying to work neagle and gumbleton into the forwardline.
as for trade value, i would say late second rounder. if...
i don't know if Scott Thompson is underrated. but every time i watch Craig Davids team he is in there best three. he is rated, but never in the same breath as a Kerr, or a Black... i also think Mitch Hahn is under rated, as is Jarred Mcveigh and Ryan Crowley
i think corey jones is a very good player, and possibly would have been all Australian last year if votes were tallied half way through the season. for anyone to trade for jones they would have to be very close to a premiership, but i dont think that his sort of player would make the difference...
i actually thought johns was good value tonight. deserves to keep his spot next week. he was the only player who kicked long from defence. there was one passage of play where he was on the end of about six horrid handballs across half back, and he launched a 40 meter kick and found a target. i...

hey guys, sorry if this has been posted somewhere else, just a quick question.
i just got afl membership and wanna go to the game tonight. i can just scan in and it wont be counted against my 40 matches for the year right?
thanks in advance
hey, my parents got me an afl membership (silver) for christmas. im not sure how it fully works. i usually go to the football with mates who dont have any form of membership or my family, who prebook there seats and sit in the same seat every week. if i want to sit with the family, nhow much...
it was 2001, and he was fantastic. misiti went out with a long injury and pev came in. he had a huge impact in every game he played. it was really unfortunate that he had to return the rookie list, as he could have made a difference in the gf that year
B: Tom Hislop, Mal Michael, Dustin Fletcher
HB: Jay Nash, Patrick Ryder, Nathan Lovett-Murray
C: Jason Winderlich, Brent Stanton, Angus Monfries
HF: Adam McPhee, Scott Gumbleton, Andrew Lovett
F: Alwyn Davey, Matthew Lloyd, Scott Lucas
FOL: David Hille, Jobe Watson, Mark McVeigh...
what kind of player is collard by the way. i do remember him being rated last year. if he is a midfielder, then we should look at him. if he is a goal sneak then we have enough.
fantastic career MJ, will really miss him. i will remember his great grabs, fearless attack at the footy, and never backing down. essendon through and through. it sucks that he couldnt have gone out on his terms, but right choice moving forward.
as for kepler, woulda, coulda, shoulda. he may...
Re: Ricky Dyson Signs A 1 Year Contract
from the age...
Fremantle put a three-year offer to Essendon wingman Ricky Dyson but had not settled on the terms of a trade with the Dons last night. The Dockers also were considering the option of taking Kepler Bradley from Windy Hill, if not for a...
