Interesting that 4 of his 6 All-Australian selections have come on the interchange. Whilst his consistency is unrivalled it probably goes to show his best not quite at the level of some of these other guys.
Of players that have debuted since 2000 I've clearly got him a rung below Ablett, Buddy...
Bit of a logjam for those final midfield/bench positions but love to see Jack Viney get rewarded for his season. Since Oliver went down he's been incredible.

Can’t believe there’s about 50 posts in here debating whether Jackson is All-Australian. He’ll be a star and finish his career with a handful of All-Australian but this year won’t be one of them. English is a lock for the team.

I'm a big fan of this award in the NBA. Would love to see it implemented somehow into the AFL season awards.
Anyway seeing Daniel Rioli sign for 5 years got me thinking who would take home this award in 2022 for the AFL.
Rioli and Will Brodie the two the immediately came to mind.
Okay, who finishes the year world number 1? Top 10 in the race as it stands currently. You'd think out of the top 4 unless someone has huge finish to the year.
The next 4 days are huge.
Rafa wins and extends the lead to 3 you'd think going to hard to catch with guys like Alcaraz, Sinner & FAA starting to arrive quickly.
Djoker wins it and cuts the gap to 1 you'd think he has enough in the tank to eek out another 1-2 go past or at least match Rafa.
As much as I loved Federer I don’t think you could possibly consider him the goat any more. Less grand slams than Rafa and losing H2H against both.
It’s going to end up Rafa or Djokovic. If Rafa wins Sunday I’ve got him a clear number 1 but still a bit to play out. Both still playing incredible...
