We shouldn't give up on Ryder, or affect our culture/playing group in the process. Hinkley's stance is one I trust, and that we're working something out, despite the delusions of Essendon and their rabble. I too can't fathom how any of our boys would want to go there though.

Very happy with Grieves work and what he does for us, just recon lade suits them more as a development/assistant type role. Can't see us poaching Brendon basically.

Exactly this, well said.... they've clearly been watching us closely. names they've chased have included Haysman, Burgo, now Walsh. Matthew Nicks was also brought up. This would surely give us an anger to steam roll them in both showdowns next year I hope to teach them.
