Not sure why BJ gets a toast for kicking 1 goal. He was done over by Stokes in the first half of the game. I actually thought that it was one of his poorer performances.

Can't believe that Jack was dropped and Leon is back. Saints have a tall backline: Gilbert, Dawson, Fisher, Blake We have Dawes and 2 short people Lockyer and Davis. Davis has only averaged 1.2 goals a game for the year! Jack is named as an emergency. Lets hope he plays.

Why would Fraser be considered to be a key forward? For starters he is too slow. And for seconds Peter Bell can beat him in a marking contest. Not only! but he can be very lazy. Anyway, we already have plenty of key forwards: Cloke, Dawes, Davis, Dick, Medders, Anthony.

I would'nt drop Leroy for Fraser. I doubt that Jack will be suspended. Cloke a definite. Maxwell will be back. No need to change anything else.

If he has'nt retired I hope he reads this thread and then announces his retirement. On recent form he has little chance of getting another game other than in the VFL. Sorry you won't make your 250 but thats show business ;)

O'Bree, Corrie, Cook and Fraser should be obvious retirement/delistings at the end of the year. Also thought Wood might have progressed a bit further on but his disposal is often quite pathetic and I'm wondering what the future holds for him.

Agree! Good first effort and I was impressed because he had clean hands and did'nt have the jitters from being nervous. I noticed some deep breathing in the warmup. Give him 110% for his 1st game.

After the win last night any player would be extremely unlucky to be dropped. reluctantly: In: Sidebottom, Maxwell Out: Lockyer, Blair Good first game by Blair and he will get more. Lockyers disposal is the only reason why he would be replaced.

Have to disagree with you. It was a poor performance by any standards. His confidence must be shot. And his performance in the finals last year was'nt much better. On recent form he does'nt deserve a place in the side against the Weagles. :)

Leon has had more than enough chances. He's totally out of form and I think he is an embarresment to himself considering what he is capable of. Off to the VFL until he gets some form back. It's pointless persisting with him until he stops fumbling the ball, missing easy marks, acting for free...
