TalAdia, was worthless, should have made the complaint to the AFL today.
I'm prophesying the 2016 Sydney 4th rounder will become a well decorated 300 gamer for the Dogs.
I Must remember this post in about 20 years time to claim some bragging rights.
I think it is everyone's best interests if this thing is swept under the carpet. I'm prepared to not get too irate at a low key outcome, and cop our 8 Friday night games next year. while watching Adelaide play the 4.40 Sunday slot.
Norf got shafted, In the third Qtr, it was like the umpires had a directive, Pay anything to WC (4-5 shockers paid), and give Norf Nuffin (4-5 shockers not paid. That generally has an effect on game momentum, that no team can overcome.
My conspiracy theory
Heaps of Virgin planes were...
Curious whether this information could be linked to the big betting plunges on Adelaide. started the betting well over $2, couple of days leading into the game the odds were tumbling (possibly as the information spread) into a clear favorite.
Wondering if any money changed hands in exchange...
Did anyone see what caused Roberts to do a face plant from vertical position, late in the game in the Tex Walker contest on the wing. Roberts had front position, I understand easing players under the ball to protect the ball drop, but when a player goes from vertical to face plant in the blink...
Currently clubs are handed a superior/inferior product by way of the fixture by people who have direct or indirect benefit from doing so. And compensate the other clubs in an effort to silence them. (read: my head is poking out a window yelling "We are not going to take this crap anymore")
I...
Ugly game of footy today, Geelong were good at holding the ball in when they had no option and releasing it when they did. I can only remember 1 holding the ball against Mackie. And 1 throwing the ball. Stringer got pinged for rough tackle, the player had no intention of releasing the ball...
Marketing gimmicks are short lived, Continued freakish acts on field drives a crowd. Let the forwards create something from nothing. Give Stringer and Bonts a licence to thrill. "The Dynamic DUOgs". The big bloke only needs to take 1 strong pack mark a game, that will do me for now.
When Griff gets a stat, I would like to see everyone in the crowd turn their backs on him...or look the other way
When griff has a set shot on goal, I would like to see everyone get up and leave their seats and return after the kick...
Would like to see Grant play as a defender against the medium/smalls, has the speed, has the strength, has the reach and height to negate.
Similar to what D.Fletcher has been doing for the last 200 years. And he kicks like a defender.
Give Jake Stringer licence to do whatever he wants (like...
Any chance the selection committee comprised of Darcy/Grant/Garlick and Woosha. Has been formed to make an offer to Woosha he couldn't refuse. Allowing him some solid think time to assess whether he firmly believes the outcome we want is achievable, without media following him everywhere he...
Spot on.
Griffen is currently our (Rolls Royce) best player, stick him in the guts you have instant grunt. which arguably for the next two-three years will be GWS best player. With possibly 5 years of solid service. Boyd still has 60-70 games of development before we see the full potential...
Make a statement Dogs, not to Managers, the Press. To get a Key monster up front we have to pay. Offer any KPF in the comp to come to the dogs for $750k p/yr until they turn 33. If its a 10 year deal so be it. We can then pick through a list and choose the right fit.
We have Griff on the...
Cameron straight Swap for Griffen, offer him a 12 year deal, an offer he cant refuse, or a dead horse (touchy subject of late) head in his bed. He'll be requesting a trade within hours.
A couple of ideas.
1. Western bulldog SMS blitz / to all supporters at certain times in the games, with instructions at a certain time on the stadium clock to start a chant/Sing/Boo/recite a poem/ taunt the opposition whatever, just organized, with current day tech, once started the rest will...
So True
Perhaps we need to start using the term "fixture handouts". Only the clubs who receive these fixture charity understand the full benefits that can be leveraged from such arrangements.
If clubs had to pay a fee or bid for a fixture competitive advantage, it would be a reasonable...
The submission outlines sound arguments and solutions with respect to stadium arrangement imbalances. Perhaps the Etihad tenants should charge twice the price for game entry, in line with relative stadium costs, of course, and rebate tenant supporters. It does not make sense when running a...
Simple pre season coming up, Kicking drills only. When you miss a target sprint 400m metres. The way we kick the ball we will be the fittest team in the competition. Who knows they may just start to place some value on an accurate kick.
Happy Skinner is named, I might actually go. I believe he needs more game time to come to terms with the speed. With more games will come confidence. This bloke strikes me as a typical forward, Oozes skill, just needs to find it more & build some confidence. I think our forward issues are more...
We should change our name to the "Western Treatment Plants" we play like its contents.
I cant accept seasoned players missing targets or unable to put the ball to advantage. This is a disgrace and should be our primary focus, their are better kickers running around in the WRFL
As an official AFL crowd analyst, my data this years reads as follows
Loud BALL Screams v hawks we were 6 to 19. for the year we are running at an average of 5.75 Loud ball screams per game. With Sydney leading the comp with a 26 per game average.
Loud HIGH Screams we are averaging 2.3 per...
As far as I am concerned until you get the powerhouse clubs saying they don't want scheduled blockbusters, instead they will take the proposed salary cap concessions and the handouts, the advantages to those clubs is far superior.
I feel it is time for change at the top, I am not critical of the current leadership, only that it is time for change. I believe the current leaders have had a positive impact on the clubs fortunes, and I am grateful for their impact and effort.
However I personally would like a leadership...
Our Forward Line
Higgins needs to stay, young, he can use both sides of the body, & can mark.
Gia, has to go, his 3 goals consisted of a potential touched on the line, when he should have blocked the defender from touching the ball. A free kick from him falling over causing the backmen to...
With Macca declaring Gia a certainty this week, Does anyone know the driver of the golf cart that ran into Johnno a couple of years ago. We need him to follow Gia this week. Bring in someone who can hold their feet, hold a tackle and run fast
Cross, Gia thanks fellas, but your time has come, the game is too quick for you blokes.
I would rather pay money to watch young blokes get beaten in 1-on-1 contests or get outrun. Not coming to a game until these changes are made.............
