I rate players who take attacking options so I'm happier with Redman and Mckenna.

Ridley has so much poise with the ball but is generally very conservative with his decision-making.

I think posters mistake his loping gait as a lack of intensity. He's very similar to Ryder in the way that he makes the difficult look effortless. Contrast with Langford who looks and plays like the effort is questionable.

He's deceptively quick and has genuine aggression over the ball.

He's going to be some player.

He also has great spring. Commentators were talking up Heeney’s leap and in the next few mins Ridley jumped over him or up in front of him to defend with ease.

With Mckenna likely to be gone by years end, it's not a hugh loss with redman/ridley/gleeson ect.
We have plenty of depth in that position.
