Now it gets interesting.

What do the Dogs do with Griffen & 6 & 27? What they are in desperate need of a Tall Forward
What does GWS do with 4 & 7 & 28. They have to move a few more players on as they have to reduce their list size.

Clearly IMHO Griffen cannot stay at the Dogs. The question is he worth GWS Pick 4 or 7? Not both maybe
Pick 4 & 28 goes to the Dogs who now have Pick 4 & 6 & 28 and who still do not have a Tall Forward

Pelican sideles up to Dogs and says how much do you really want Wright? Want to risk that he is still there at 4. Make sure of it and give us 4 & 6 & 28 and we will give you 1 & 22.

Assuming Melb take Brayshaw at 2 do they choose McCartin or Petracca at 3 leaves us with the other and a free swing at 6 and also 21 if McKenzie is still there.

Otherwise welcome Pretracca to Saints and see if we can do the three card trick again with Dunstan & Acres again.

Having said that good luck to Rhys and we better hope that Hickey pulls up after his op otherwise we may look a bit silly trading him. Never know pick 4 if we do the above may provide us with a ready made replacement in Wright anyway.

Ok so this is super, super unlikely but does anyone think Ryder might end up in the PSD?

Bombers standing their ground, Ryder threatening to walk based on asada

Feels a little like Luke ball

(Sorry it's in here only because we have pick 1)

I have complete faith in the Pelican. I have complete faith in the Pelican.

I didn't get to hear it properly but was it mentioned on Trade Radio that we were deciding between Billings and Scharenberg with pick 3 last year?

Don't want McCartin or McKenzie. McCartin looks overweight to me and one dimensional, McKenzie has beat up on poor opponents and has very little exposed from against quality opposition. Hoping de Goey slides to 21, doubtful though. My dream draft would be Petracca, De Goey, Cockatoo/Weller. Doubt we will get any of the last three though. Blakely or Duggan would be good picks too. Hopefully this draft will give saints sufficient midfield depth and class moving forward and we can then address the best way of trying to get a quality KPF to replace Roo when he retires.

I may or may not be the only one that believes we are trading out players who havent realised their potential so we can stock pile an abundance of great youth & then possibly trade them for needs in 3-4 years time.... just a theory

Trade with GWS:
Out: Pick 1
In: Pick 4, Pick 7, Nick Haynes

Saints go into draft with pick 4, 7, 21, 22, 41

Thoughts??
