The last 3 weeks he's averaged 19 touches, 2 marks and 4 tackles a game and he only missed about 15 minutes of last weeks game with the head knock. You can be just as flippant as Defacto in the opposite way if you want but the guy is well down on the form he had last year. He's had a few very good games as well this year, but it's not good enough to do it every now and then when you call yourself a leader of the club.

The only way I can see it happening is if GWS wanted him to ice their cake and someone from them wanted to come home we might use him as a trading option but can't see it being a real likely scenario.

Its the 10 CONTESTED disposals per week that he's still averaging ( i agree he's not up to his normal standard ) that you can't just replace with anyone.

It's not about the money for Hurley, if it was he'd go to Freo. No one of quality goes to Richmond, plus his BFF is a St Kilda listed player from August onwards. 50 grand a year after tax is SFA.
He will be at St Kilda if my mail from Saturday, which I posted, is correct. We've been putting work into him for twelve months, as we have JOM.

Armo was excellent against Hawthorn and the Pies and has been down since. For me he seems to be carrying something. We are really dependent on him in the midfield - too dependent- and he needs help. He'd be one of the last I'd look at trading to be honest.

We do have Carlisle and unless we think Goddard is bust I don't see the point especially if we are paying close to 900K which we will have to if reports that is what the Tigers are offering.
