fyfe is seriously down on form, the patches of brilliance he used to have arent as frequent as they used to be. shades of goddard in 2012 although not as bad

The reprieve IMO is he gets better the higher the intensity of the game/in clutch moments this year. I'd still take he punt on him. Maybe not for a stupidly large contract but still a mil a year for 4-5 years

Priority wise we should be going for
1. Jelly (hopefully his best mate jack steele persaudes him to come back home to the seaford side)
2. Whitfield
3. Rockliff
4. Weller
5. Hartung
6. GAZZA ABLETT THE GOAT

Geez, brutal. But fair. Downhill skiier.

Yeah he would be good at Sandy, I don't rate him at all. Outside players do find it hard when a team is shit but he is very average even when they were up and about and he was getting fed by an elite midfield.

His skills were on display yesterday. Less than 70% efficiency with 7 direct turnovers and no rebound or inside 50's. Basically just floated sideways around the middle. Wouldn't be in most other teams 22.

If Lyon had kept going with this sentence he might have ended up giving us Fyfe for free. When asked about Fyfes poor performance against the Eagles he said the following, -

I thought his hit around the ball was fantastic and he wasn't perfect , but I thought he was ok.

In one sentence he went from fantastic to ok , great effort by the coach.

Mate, Lever was contracted, there is no way Adelaide were giving him up last year. Who says we aren't after him now?

Fisher was cooked and Brown cost us absolutely nothing as a stop gap.

I for one think our defence has been our strength this year. Brown and Carlisle have both been very good defensively which has really freed up our other backs such as Roberton to play a more attacking game.

Carlisle has still got a way to go before he gets back to his offensive best, but I think he deserves some time.

I think he showed signs against the Hawks that he's getting back to his best , that pack mark he took when there was a pack of about 5 big guys and he just burst through from behind and took a one grab mark made them all look little. Awesome.

If his form continues over the next couple of weeks along with the team losing more it's going to test fyfes word

Remember when he said he would look to re-sign quickly if it affected his or the teams form

Got a Carlton mate who is an ITK. He knew of the deal involving a future Hawks player getting to Blues. One Jono O'Rouke! Also involved GWS letting Blues get McCreadie

Just came across this on the Hawks board. JOR cost them a first round draft pick... I've lost count of the cost, but I believe that tips JOM's value into Judd territory.

Is Goddard worth anything? I don't want to trade him but I remember reading bj saying he's cement himself as a forward. We don't have space in the forward line and if he wanted to play forward would he be worth anything to a Collingwood or Melbourne who need a forward? Getting lever in, keeping Gilbert getting more games into white while drafting a project defender could offset the loss. I get the feeling we drafted paddy and Goddard to play as forwards then Bryce and member pushed him out of the forward line.

Again I don't want to trade him think he'll be good for us but a mid to early second rounder would be tempting or maybe a player.

seriously into kelly now lads. Hes not the only star we are after tho, (fyfe cough fyfe) which should come as no surprise, as we are seriously taking a look at pretty much every uncontracted player.
Clubs just not going all in on one player tho at the moment, surveying all possible scenarios in order to try get best outcome for many years to come. so whether that means spending little less on kelly for one or two years and then back ending his deal in order to be able to get another gun either established player or highly rated youngster 19-23 year old in, or even seeing how or if we can afford to get in 2 established stars which could let to a squeeze out or two, we wait and see. We're making moves. 3 first rounders and millions ready to splash out is a very grouse position to be in.

Thanks Waldy
I love reading stuff from the itk's. Yes, I know that what you are telling us might not come off. There is a lot of time between, yes I'm coming to play for the Saints and signing a contract and standing for a photo in our guernsey.
If I may, it is like being out with my mates late on Friday night and having drunk too much I've managed to pick up a woman and gone back to her place. As I'm enjoying a pre dawn shag and thinking about the mother of our future children the sun streams in and I realise I've made a horrible mistake and clutch my clothes and race out of her place hoping that no one took photos and desperately texting my mates about the woman Timmy picked up
What you tell us might not come off but I'm damned sure I'm going to enjoy it until there is no hope left

I'd give him 400k x 3 and give ess our 2018 1st rounder coz dildo is a stupid monkey butt!

And king will say saints traded a 1st rounder for a player they could of got for free.

I we hadn't traded for Lovett we could have got Heppell. What were we thinking ?
( by kings logic ).
