Love him, and he'd fit nicely into our backline, but is it worth us giving up what he'd cost?

Adelaide would likely ask for our Hawthorn pick if it were to fall around 5. If we wanted to give our pick instead they'd want a little more involved.

It's a lot to give up if there is a quality mid in the draft around that pick.

For that type of money he'd want to be bringing a lot to the table. My concern is the numbers of possessions doesn't translate for him. Fair enough if you're big on him, I just don't agree at the likely asking price.

problem on the 2nd option will be that its in GWS interest to sell each player individually if they cant keep them, as they will get more for them in individual sales

also convincing hopper to come if we've convinced kelly might be less likely as players want guaranteed minutes. what position would Hopper play with Acres, Steele, Steven, Ross then Stevens/Armo all there along with Roo, Newnes, Monty on the wing.

Not too bad, although I'd be putting Wright on the rookie list well before Lonie considering he's ahead of him as we speak and is a couple of years younger. Still has plenty to work in but has a lot more upside than Wright.

Pierce is probably another we could look at rookie listing and makes more sense than Rice to me, especially if we keep both our ruckmen.
