Should've rested Brand and Miles - they looked terrific today. If we play Duryea and Mirra- its a mistake
Agree is a step or two steps backwards from where we were 3-4 weeks ago.

Yeah yeah and you've lost to Brisbane twice.People have short memories, up until 3 weeks ago Melbourne hadn't beaten a top 8 side. They then beat WC with no Kennedy and Darling went off half way through the first quarter in that match, they then beat GWS missing a bunch of players from yesterday's demolition of the Swans including no Toby Greene who is a star and then they beat Geelong who finished at the bottom of the 8. Well done Melbourne but lets see what happens on Friday night, you reckon a few of our boys aren't going to be reminding their lot about their mental demons.
Yeah yeah and you've lost to Brisbane twice.
How can you be lippy at hawthorn supporters? Your team has done nothing for the best part of 50 yearsYeah yeah and you've lost to Brisbane twice.
Yeah yeah and you've lost to Brisbane twice.
I love their excitement and energy.Melbourne fans sure are lippy after 12 years of mediocrity
I'm "lippy" at whom I choose. How can you be lippy at hawthorn supporters? Your team has done nothing for the best part of 50 years
Thank God.And you lost to St Kilda.
Then you must’ve missed the talk hawks had after the lions loss??Thank God.
We've been building since round 1 and learnt far more from our losses than our victories.
I said to myself earlier tonight I wouldn't post this but I can't help myself to be frank.
Why won't Clarko copy Richmond and only let our players play in two designated thirds of the ground each?
Nothing wrong with copying the best team in the competition, we still have three weeks left to see what it will do. Maybe Richmond aren't that invincible after all and if our players don't have to run into a whole third of the ground like theirs do, maybe we will wear down teams too.
I almost entirely agree except for this.Hopefully he doesn't copy. Dimma said he tried to copy hawks before there run and they did shit. He will never copy, you heard it yourself. It's all a system. He has been working on gameplan's with this new group of kids and incase you don't realise.. we made the top 4. He is going to stick with it, the kids are going to learn more and know how to improve and implement the plan we are working on. Example the kick's from full back right up the ground, rarely does it pay off for us and in each attempt there has been 3 differen't positions players are in. This is a learning curve for us and if he's got us in the top 4 this year i'm excited to see what happens in 2-4 years time.
And you haven't won a premiership since some people's grand parents were born.Yeah yeah and you've lost to Brisbane twice.
The one thing you can be confident about is that you have plenty experience in dealing with disappointmentThank God.

1988When was the last time the Dees supporters were this up and about? 2006?
I'm happy for them.1988
We are used to it man and it's something we like and seems to help us get to our best.So I've been listening to a few podcasts and reading articles today, seen more than once media figures talking about Melbourne beating us in Perth in two weeks time. A few people need to take a deep breathe and take the fairytale talk one week at a time, not showing much respect to the Hawks.
I almost entirely agree except for this.
Richmond have consistently shown they wear down teams again and again. Their players only run 2/3 of what every other player has to. It's not rocket science, why hasn't someone tried copying it?
It's worth a try. We took it right up to them until we ran out of gas and they posted on the scoreboard the top 10 players x distance covered (all Hawks) and frankly how can we blame them.
I was part of the Demon Alternative and seated at Dallas Brooks Hall in 1996. Needless to say I voted no.And you haven't won a premiership since some people's grand parents were born.
And you certainly haven't won anything since you voted to merge.
And your team are habitual losers who, even if they did by some miracle, win on Friday, would still be Melbourne and there is very little you can do about hosing that off.
I'd never dare question the great Clarko, but I just don't know why someone hasn't tried it.I see your point but at the same time i don't think it is worth a try.. especially not in finals. Can't just throw out a plan we've been working on all season. We will practice the same game plan during the offseason and you'll notice it work a lot more efficiently. I can guarentee you that if Clarkson doesn't think it is working he will stop and change it. There is no hope we copy Richmond, its not Hawthorn and it sure as hell isn't Clarko

Richmond wasn't that good and now seem invincible.
Perhaps it actually works!
I mostly agree but with three weeks left I'd have to give it a go.The only issue is with copying someone is that as soon as the coaching staff and players figure out how to pull it off, the competition knows how to combat it which renders it basically useless. I suspect Richmond won't be as good next year as clubs will dissect their plan like crazy
