Does anyone have a strong opinion on whether Labs nicked his last night?
Need a pillow for the sharp points of that fence?Agree
Also agree
Needs more mintsEngland great Steve Harmison:
‘Steve Smith will forever be remembered as a cheat’
Steve Harmison believes Australia batsman Steve Smith will forever be remembered as a cheat regardless of his achievements in the game. Smith was banned from international cricket for 12 months, al…talksport.com
Hahahahahahahshahah
Delicious.
Let the tears flow Harmy, however when they dry you’ll still be able to read SPD Smith at the top of every batting list for the rest of your life ahahahahahaha
Yeah, odd mix isn't it?
Just as well Labuschagne got his runs when he did, with cameos later from Paine, Starc and Wade.
I thought for great eye and clean-hitting that Sobers was the best I'd seen, with Gilly close, Viv Richards too,
Lara/Tendulkar/Kohli, Ponting and more, but Smith!
Smith makes the impossible possible.
I do, but it won't make any difference. Look in the book:Does anyone have a strong opinion on whether Labs nicked his last night?
I get that, but I was baffled by the lack of replays and analysis following the dismissal, when everything else seems to analysed to within an inch of its life.I do, but it won't make any difference. Look in the book:
"Labuschagne lbw Broad".
Clear inside edge. Umpiring this series has been very one sidedI get that, but I was baffled by the lack of replays and analysis following the dismissal, when everything else seems to analysed to within an inch of its life.
If I don’t get a good night’s sleep, then something’s gone Pete Tong.Very very different. If Eng are somehow still batting at tea then Aus have either bowled absolute rubbish and/or dropped catches....
What a sad POS. He's just salty he's a forgettable nobody, whose ONLY claim to fame is his ******ed ball to second slip. Steve Smith will go down as a legend, In 5 years only cricket tragics/nerds will remember Harmison. And Steve Harmisson will always be remembered as the guy who bowled the first ball of an ashes series straight to 2nd slip lmao
It's just another form of rankings and who cares about those.
Poms were wasting time and bowled 6 overs in 40 minutes last night. Someone said they don't fine / suspend captains for over rates anymore they just dock points from that.
Hmm survival in the ashes v losing test championship points let me think about that before I waste some time......
3.4 tests!
Didn't bat in the second innings after being knocked out and no doubt that concussion effected his first innings aswell.
Bloke is a freak, soak it in lads, we are seeing history.

Root was panicking....?We bowled 6 overs in 40 minutes yet got 22 overs in the 100 mins bowled after tea (that's a better rate than Australia bowled at all day by the way)?
Author of this article:
gets 10/10 for this:Joe Root falls further into Steve Smith's shadow
There was once debate as to whether Steve Smith or Joe Root was the better batsman, but the brighter Smith has shone since then, the more Root has become a shadow.www.abc.net.au
"From a deficit of 196 on the first innings, England briefly had hope after four quick wickets.
Smith snuffed it out in darkly comic fashion, with declaration batting like delirium tremens conveyed through interpretive dance. "
Inside edge clearly visible to the naked eye.I get that, but I was baffled by the lack of replays and analysis following the dismissal, when everything else seems to analysed to within an inch of its life.
This . The advantage of ‘holding’ the Ashes is you only have to draw a series to retain them .I accept that there's a distinction, but I really don't think people care. Walk away with the urn at the end of the series, you won.
