The romantic side of Papley playing for the Swans after his Grandfathers did was a great story and to see him thrive made it all the more sweet. So this above all things for me is sad that regardless it isn’t a strong enough piece of his own sense of history to continue. However they were South players so it’s probably expecting a lot for him to continue if is hearts not in it.
Daniher left the Swans and went to Essendon now appears to rewrite that history with some poetic bookending to a chapter with Daniher coming back.

He does things literally only a select few other players in the competition can do. When was the last time a KPF had a season as good as he did in 2017 at the age of 23? Probably Buddy around a decade prior.

That was at a time when forwards still kicked 100 goals in a season. 70 is a freak achievement these days.
Tippett also kicked 35 goals in his first 11 games with us before a Carlton player fell on his leg and he never really recovered. Was a highly talented player, just like Daniher.
Like a woman who has the choice between two guys, a fitness trainer who abuses steriods and an accountant with a nice car. She picked the fitness trainer, but now years down the line she realised the accountant is the much smarter decision.

Majority of the moderators here are actually pretty understandable and it's a harder job than you think it is.
Either way, this isn't the right thread for these types of discussions.
id be as excited as anyone to get daniher .... for the right price (and i dont mean his contract).
but where our current list is vs what it will cost to give up daniher.
If I had a pros and cons column, i would have about 10 cons and 1 pro (daniher could be really good).
