Cal Twomey suggesting the player Brisbane are after might be Schoenberg, with the trade designed to stop us from trading ahead of them, as we also asked the question of Port

Port might then take Williams.

This would allow us to take Worrell and Robertson which would be a steal of the century IMO
Steal yes cal ranking Worrell 13 robertson9

they're saying we're into Robertson in a big way, and we're his most likely destination

If that's the case they can have him. Now to make a deal to get Worrell, Robertson and Rantall would be happy with that

Come on down Fritzy!

Just looked at some vids of Robertson and looks like the perfect Sloane replacement and would compliment our young mids well, moving forward.

But honestly, I just want him for the Fritz reference.

Robertson and Gould are my bets.

Cant go wrong though, just hope we dont trade them. I think we might have traded back the later pick to Norths but it sounds like Shoenberg will be gone.

Would be great but not sure it addresses the need for speed

Address that need with some later picks. Worrell/Gould and Robertson would be a huge couple of picks for us
Worrell makes sense, teammate of the Fish and much to the chagrin of the Fish to the Forward line supporters it allows us to develop him as a key defender and develop Worrell up Forward where to my eye with his better athleticism and speed than the Fish he looks the more natural Forward....just not sure he fits Hamish's character test as I've heard he's a very out there/different type of lad.

My big thing with getting Worrell is that is gives us great flexibility to see where both McAsey and Worrell work best. They both have very complimentary skillsets, Worrell more athletic and with great skill and rebounding from defence if needed while still strong overhead (more dynamic), with Fischer the stronger contested mark and overall more proven prospect. Getting the best KPP in the draft is great, getting the top two IMO is even better

For anyone not realising what Gallucci can bring to the team if played in the midfield. Look back to that romp against Carlton. Kicked 4 goals 1, 7 inside 50s (the most in the team) and was playing as a midfielder or the extra off half-back becoming extra midfielder (4 tackles in there too with 2 of them in the plays of the week highlights). Might have only have 17 possessions but they were all quality. Yes, the opposition was woeful but his impact was a lot higher than other regular midfielders that day. He just needs the chance to play there regularly.

Jones, Gallucci, McHenry, Smith and Milera all need extra midfield time.

Yeah it's not like we're short of pace, elite skills and defensive ferocity with that group

Sure, we need pace, but part of that is just playing who we have. Planning for our future sees us needing several types of midfielders, plus KPPs and general forwards
