27, injury prone.

If he stays fit he would be very handy.
His injury history would mean a two or three year contract gets him over the line and he is a free agent.

Whether we get the 15 to 20 games a year out of him is anybody's guess.

On a scale of Conca to Bennell, I think he is closer to Reece

Depending on the picks.

We could get the compo for S Hill and trade that pick to the Tigers for B Ellis and a later pick.

Tigers would get a better pick and we could better a later pick.
Good idea, Richmond currently have 15, 33 and 37

If Hill nets us band 3, that's pick #25. Assuming Coniglio also goes then it's #26.

We could trade #26 to Richmond for Ellis and Bolton, effectively upgrading their pick #35 compo nearly ten places for the price of Shai.

I read somewhere today that WC and Freo are still trying to pry Acres out of the Saints. If Hill goes there it might be a part of the deal. I'm sure most of the people on here will be pleased to hear that... not.

I heard it on SEN too, threw up a little in my mouth.

Also, wtf do we want with Wood? The dude averages like 10 games a year and most of them ordinary. Definitely has talent but doesn't show it nearly enough.

Apologies for the intrusion again.

I usually just lurk to read the transfer gossip.

I’m surprised there’s not much discussion about Sean Darcy (or I missed it all).

It was mentioned on the Footyology Podcast (Rohan Connolly and Mark Fine) that Darcy will request a trade back to Victoria.

Whilst it seems a long way off, I would be a huge fan of getting Gus Brayshaw. However, cannot understand the talk that suggests he would be a straight swap for Langdon. On this board there's been plenty of talk about Brad's contract increasing his worth (Brad has 2 years whilst gus has 4 remaining) and the fact that clubs tend to value inside mids more highly than outside mids. With that considered, I cannot see how Melbourne would let Brayshaw go for langdon. Yes he's had a poor season, been played out of position and has a history of concussion but anyone suggesting a straight swap of Gus and langdon needs to seriously temper their expectations.

If langdon and hill are both to leave wouldn't mind shipping them both off to the demons for Gus and their 1st (with some late pick swaps). Can't imagine Melbourne needing both Hill and Ed but geez we could tell geelong to get stuffed, nab Kelly in the draft and pay him chips

We have heard that. If you believe the media, everyone is leaving. We'll find out soon enough. Would make our attempt at a trade for Kelly easier, if true

Sean signed a two year extension and currently has a WA girl friend.
I doubt we’d trade him.

If it happened, straight trade for Kelly. We rate him that highly.

Seemed very positive in Dec 2018.

Signed up for the next three years.

Actions suggest he is committed.

When was the last time you watched him play.

I like it. If saints trade there first pick for GWS 2 first rounders they have 12 and 13.

We could trade pick 12 and Acres for Hill. Pick 12 should be enough to get us Robertson.
