How does it work the other way? Diamonds in the rough who've been delisted without playing a game elsewhere but played at least one game for Freo.
Should exclude Mzungu and any others who arrived through weird pre-listing at GWS or GCS.

I'll start with Spider Burton.
Travis Edmunds
Jay Burton
David Muir (Twice! I have his #21 at home)

A bit early but players who will be OOC at the end of 2019, there's a lot.

Ballantyne
Logue
Bennell
Hughes
Tucker
Blakely
Taberner
Hamling
Kersten
McCarthy
North
Langdon
Mundy
Meek
Hill
Sandilands
Apeness
Switkowski
Jones
Giro
Nyhuis
Duman

I have at least 2 retiring (Ballantyne and Sandilands) and 3 being delisted (Bennell, Kersten and Apeness)

That's 5 changes already. We then have at least 5 players who are maybes to get extended or could be traded.

Can we really afford to do another double digit turnover? Especially if it's bigger than this year.

If Apeness has a good year, hes every chance to hold his spot and he Lobb's backup as FWD/RUCK.

If Bennell can get on the park then he is every chance to keep his spot also.

This year will be 8, I think we will hit a similar number next year.

Several players need a big year

Haggers said this morning that Sandis injury is not improving at all and the club is worried etc etc....retirement before last list cull?

Did he pause and preface it with ...'Sorry ...it's really hard to read Belly's hand writing'

Wouldn't shock me in the slightest if they consensually moved Sandi to ruck coach now that they have a confirmed Lobb & Hogan in the door and negotiate an out with the AFL & Sandi.

Before Trade week ......Darcy --> Tabs/Apeness/Cox (2nd) --> Jones/Meek (back up Primary) ...you need Sandi as no Darcy is a massive problem.

After Trade week ....Darcy ---> Lobb/ Tabs/Cox ---> Jones/Meek ....looks a hell of a lot more settled especially when you add in there will always being 2 tall targets in the forward line if the 2nd ruck is in the middle (Hogan/Tabs/Lobb) ...if you can safely get Sandi off the books you probably do it. Helps Darcy develop and saves a spot for a rookie upgrade.

Think we're in for at least 7 cuts next year most likely from the likes of Sandi, Balla, Bennell, Tucker, Kersten, McCarthy, North, Meek, Apeness & Jones

The club is probably financially restricted to have Sandi as a stand alone coach, due to the soft cap of footy dept spending. So will utilise him as a non playing or partial player who just happens to coach, and have his salary in players basket where we have more cap space.

NicNat is doing the same!

I would go after Menzel from Geelong. Got delisted. Can kick goals, but perhaps we’re too heavy with forwards now?

As would I. I recall we were interested a few years back and he is good mates with Kersten and Hamling. His defensive pressure is non-existent, but his ability to score should outweigh this.

Menzel would need a minimum 2-3 year deal, and has almost zero defensive capacity. Pass.

2 years isn't a long time for a guy who can get you 2 goals a game. Our forwardline is still screaming out for a mid sized forward who is that awkward matchup for defenders.

Geelong are in their "premiership window", have ordinary forwards outside of Hawkins and don't want him. That is alarm bells for me.
