That is literally Dardy McCrafty.2 years isn't a long time for a guy who can get you 2 goals a game. Our forwardline is still screaming out for a mid sized forward who is that awkward matchup for defenders.

You're going to get upset lots of times if you worry about the more talented players getting more chances than everyone else.Get ready for a little rant.
lol at posters thinking Mccarthy will come good. To put it in perspective Jack Anthony's best season was 50 and Cams was 35...Anthony's career was done at 24. How old is Cam next year?? hmmm.
Cam is lazy, fat and did nothing but party in his year off (2016). If he had a brain and any professionalism he would've built/kept his fitness levels up throughout 2016 and maybe..just maybe put on a bit of muscle to his skinny/fat guts frame. All throughout 2017, everyone was defending his form cause of his year off and last season it's cause he needs to be the 4th Fwd????? give me a break.
He's got a decent kick, not elite! But it's decent enough to be an AFL footballer. But every other attribute is wafl standard or possibly lower.
He needs to start at Peel for at least the first 10 weeks next year and make him work for it. He also needs to drop the weight around his ass/waist and build up his body.
Sorry for the rant. I'm just over people worshiping this guy and the amount of chances he gets to prove his apparent ability is insanely ridiculous.
If you watch him closely you'll see his footy nous and goal sense.Get ready for a little rant.

He's a 1 yr deal player for mine even if he has a good year next year , same with Matera and if you lose them because of it you lose them it's not unheard of that guys like Cam get the message and turn it around but rolling 1 yr deals is the best way to play it with guys like that
I'm hopeful Bell can shake a few of these blokes out of their comfort zone

He has a lot of talent but Freo 1997 is right about something in that Cam has become lazy. He is generally athletic but is visibly carrying extra weight around the waist. He needs get serious with his training and fitness standards and if he does we will have ourselves a good player. I still remember him actually out-bodying McGovern twice in the first derby. One of those times he was dumped after taking the mark and to this day I still can’t believe he didn’t get a fifty. If you watch him closely you'll see his footy nous and goal sense.
He hasn't been able to use his strengths properly here yet, Hogan and Lobb facilitate that
I think Cam will blossom next year. Will no longer take the opp's 1st or second or even third best defender. Just like at the Giants.
So much agree. Signing Apeness because he finally played a couple of games in a row after years of sitting it out is woeful. Apart from the fact there was no need to rush into the contract, they must have known we were carrying too many injured rucks as it is. Basically, it come down to signing Apeness to sit on the injury list another year, or re-sign Strnadica who is working his arse off... and we chose Apeness. (doh!)Pretty poor list management tbh, would have preferred we keep him over Apeness and Jones. Apeness especially is just a list clogger now, same boat as Harley and Andrew Browne before them.
ahhh for f...Fox Sports listed him ahead of Connor Blakely in our top 22 lol
Strnadica who is working his arse off...
He needs to stop partying and get fit, McCarthy, Matera and Bennell have all been given their last chance. Shape up or ship out which would be a pitty, when fit Macca, & Bennell would easily be best 22.I think Cam will blossom next year. I’d move Apeness to rookie list already along with Jones and MeekSo much agree. Signing Apeness because he finally played a couple of games in a row after years of sitting it out is woeful. So anyone know what is happening with Sandilands’ injury. Been a few whispers (not just ole crumpets) that he isn’t recovering well and had a few hicups. Bell was asked about this last Sat and he just blew it off saying he hadn’t seen Aaron at Freo HD.

No one worships him. in fact most comments on here about him are more negative than positive. You have a ridiculous bias that makes you see everything cam as rubbish and makes you unable to acknowledge even the slightest positive thing anyone says about him and I do mean the slightest. Cam needs to work harder no doubt. But you've just called his kick decent, when the truth is he is clearly a very good kick.. You've called him slow when Ive seen repeat sprints in pure running and he is very quick when not effected by injury. Just for the record he is actually miles off being in the bottom third in distance running at the club and ive seen him work to exhaustion at training on many occasions. Im hoping he has a wonderful preseason as his career is definitely on the lone next year.Get ready for a little rant.

Well said. Until I see him play his favoured role in a better and more organised team, I won't be making any judgements. My guess is we tried to turn him into something he isn't.No one worships him. in fact most comments on here about him are more negative than positive.
