Does anyone know how to stop getting 300 emails a day from Bigfooty? I've tried in preferences, but nothing seems to work!
It's probably because of your watched threads. Go to the little eye next to your mail box, then go to the menu at the bottom of the thread list, and select disable all email notifications

What is everyone's thoughts on Jordan Gallucci, do we keep him or delist him? I personally think he is a capable player and with better coaching he could be a good player for us still. Does his injury affect his speed though? That is my only concern if we keep him on our list but if it works out he could be a virtual recruit for us.

I'd give him a 1 year extension

He's comfortably behind the other 3 for delisting in the 'awaiting list spot changes' group as far as I'm concerned. Only hope among that group of turning it on and being a valuable cog in a finals game. But that's not what drives our decision making, hard to look past the good news story of a club legend's extension.

As would I, but more for the reason it would be a shit thing to do given the achilles injury and him therefore being unable to take on board Godden's straight talking and show he'd got the message by his on field actions.

I can't see these trades ever coming off, but the idea itself is sound.

The big issue for the Bulldogs is that if they get a 2020 draft pick for Dunkley, it is likely to be eaten up by a bid on JUH. Hence if they lose Dunkley, a player like Treloar, or a 2021 first round pick is going to be preferred. If we can get on to part of that trade to boost our own hand it would be good. BUT, No way we get pick 7 for 23, 40 & 50. We would need to give up more.
Here's where we can use our matching rights at #1 (or not) :)

We really have to make them trade it to us or make them burn it (and/or pick 14) to use on JUH.

I definitely think he is worth a 1 year contract extension we have nothing to lose.

I'd like to see him given another year and see how he goes under Nicksy' game plan.

I think his injury actually makes it clear whether we keep him or not. We will have had a chance to watch his recovery work closely.
We would hope that he has done everything right. He's also out of contract and because of the injury, probably not attracting any interest from other clubs. With a bit of luck, he's had a look at what delisted football life looks like and might not be that keen.

If he's smart this experience will turn around his attitude and could be a real boost for him. Giving him a one year deal (maybe with some triggers built in for contract extensions) gives us a great chance to see how that looks.

Of our remaining out of contract players, he's the one I'd most want to keep

I'd only cut him if we completely run out of list spots

Yeah, look, if the choice of who to delist was between Gallucci and Mackay, I'd keep Gallucci.

If we were somehow able to engineer getting a Caldwell through PSD (a very unlikely scenario!!!), then I'd delist Gallucci and hope another side picks him up as a DFA.

I think I rate Godden's opinions even less than I rate Gallucci tbh.

I don't because I'd be certain he was only the messenger in that instance....there is no way that Matthew Nicks wouldn't have been fully aware of Godden's actions...not even a 1% chance that Nicks hadn't signed off on it.

I'm sure Nicks would have thought the same and he really should have been the one to say it because the message carries no weight when the guy delivering it is also completely unproven and will probably go down as the worst midfield coach the club ever had.

You honestly believe when Godden was delivering the message he wouldn't have made it clear that it was the coaching panel's decision? I'd be very surprised if that wasn't the case.

I know it was the coaching panels decision. I just don't know why they sent their work experience kid to deliver the message. Nicks should have been the one putting the heat on Gallucci.

He would be the one of the 4 fringe players waiting for a contract that I would keep... if not traded.

Gotta love the media coverage of Geelong.

‘GWS reject mega offer from Geelong for Cameron...’

That offer? Picks 15 and 20 with a pick coming back in return

Yeah wow, can’t see why they rejected 2 picks that barely make the 1st round...
Talk about cheeky from Geelong!

Cameron is worth a lot more than Tim Kelly IMO.

13, 15 and tell Parfitt he's going up there, then GWS might be nice enough to send you a late pick (i.e. 40 ;) ) back.

That actually sounds fair

Geelong are asking for low 20s pick back. Wonder who will blink first.

Give 23 & 40 to Bulldogs for Pick 14. Crows send 14 to Geelong for Parfitt.

Geelong send a combination of 13,14,15, 20 to GWS.
