Trade Radio were talking about someone coming to us potentially? Jed Anderson maybe? Or are we just being constantly linked with being everyone’s fallback PSD threat?

Bernie needed a change and fresh start ... he was running a thorough and so was Tex with him the last few years he was here .
Not much has changed , lol .... but he was very good for the Dees in whole .
They didn't say we were linked, a caller just posed the question for discussion. I actually think we should target him as a Crouch replacement.

Yeah, Jed’s out of contract at North and caller posed that we may be trying to quietly walk him into the PSD. He does have some links with Adelaide the city I believe, but is a Darwin local.
Would be a big win to achieve this IMO, but can’t see it happening.
Agreed, would likely nab us one of Phillips or Thilthorpe and at worse DGB.
Not sure how we’d get it done though.
Our future 1st has to be pretty much off the table. Can we upgrade 9 somehow? Not cheaply you’d imagine.
They need points for tbeir NGA selections..... we have a range of 2nd and 3rd round picks we can offer up

Gold Coast Suns can prelist NGA and Darwin talents and don't need picks.

Definitely looks that way, but when you break it down it seems to work for each club:
Bulldogs - get a replacement for Dunkley, plus a couple of late selections for bidding purposes - retain pick 14 as well, which they could break down further to reduce NGA compo required.
Collingwood - get Treloar off their books and given this scenario, I am not sure they can hope for too much more
Essendon - get their man plus they still have pick 6 & 8 (for Saad)
I can't see these trades ever coming off, but the idea itself is sound.
The big issue for the Bulldogs is that if they get a 2020 draft pick for Dunkley, it is likely to be eaten up by a bid on JUH. Hence if they lose Dunkley, a player like Treloar, or a 2021 first round pick is going to be preferred. If we can get on to part of that trade to boost our own hand it would be good. BUT, No way we get pick 7 for 23, 40 & 50. We would need to give up more.
I expect the list managers don't think that way. They'd see our end result and we'd be needing to throw more into the pot. How it got divvied is a separate discussion, but there's no way those 3 clubs let us upgrade to 7 with just those picks.
Now that Roo is back from his boys weekend, any chance we start thinking about the trading period?

Does anyone know how to stop getting 300 emails a day from Bigfooty? I've tried in preferences, but nothing seems to work!
What is everyone's thoughts on Jordan Gallucci, do we keep him or delist him? I personally think he is a capable player and with better coaching he could be a good player for us still. Does his injury affect his speed though? That is my only concern if we keep him on our list but if it works out he could be a virtual recruit for us.
