Lethers admits we paid slight overs on Higgins. fair enough.
Did he say why? Still unclear to me why we were so desperate to have him in the team.

I think future second rounder alone was fair if we make the 8. Overs if not. Not sure what the difference between 17-21 is in this year's draft but I'll be filthy if they're guns.

just said we had parameters around what we were prepared to get him and we went slightly above what we were hoping for.

i'd say its because he's contracted.

Dunkley will still get done I reckon. Would make no sense for the dogs to get Treloar and keep Dunkley when they already have too many mids.

Dunkley wont get done purely on the fact that it's dodo trying to land a contracted player whose club don't want him gone.

Treloar doesn't come into that equation at all.

Dodo has the longest pockets and shortest arms in the league- he will never get close to offering the dogs what a contracted dunkley is worth.

Higgins is a step up from Lonie or Kent IMO . Hopefully he can follow in Gresham’s footsteps and we could have them changing between forward and on the ball . Imagine being a defender on Higgins and then Gresham swaps with him

Jack Lonie assessing options. doubt he finds a new home.

Also great that , like big Max , Jack Higgins is a lifetime Saints supporter . I think it means more when you are playing for a club you have always supported.
