Not sure when the first pick will be called, but it seems they're taking a long run up on this one.
When do they do the Michael Voss tribute to Robert Harvey ? That seemed to run longer than Harvey's actual career.

You speak the individual and see where he's at. If he's an addict, I agree that it would be likely too soon for him to be back at AFL level. Not being a smart ass, but how do you assess Stengle's character beyond looking at his recent behaviour? It's not worth the risk, we should look elsewhere.
If we now have 3 picks in the MSD, Ottavi if available (forward/ruck). JGM (now plays defence, ruck, and forward and was looking good at the mutts), and a large bodied mid (188-193cm plaese).Gribble reads like a lighter version of Matthew Kennedy.
We have enough slow midfielders.
A ruck and a key forward / defender thanks.

Get some Groucho glasses on him and call him Slimmo.Get SIMMO
They probably could have used the 210cm bloke we are trying to hide in the shrubsJudging by today's reserves outing it might not be such a good idea to draft players from there for our afl squad.

I think a couple of other guys between 195 and 210cm tall might have also been handy. They probably could have used the 210cm bloke we are trying to hide in the shrubs
Exactly my thought process. We are woefully undersized in the 2s and have little insurance at the moment. If we are to use the 3 picks lets use them on players who can play in the position that our VFL/AFL team needs, like key position. Good opportunity to bolster our current players in the 2's by playing with proper structure. Will be good for the developing tall's we draft to be playing in what looks like a pretty talented vfl squad.
Could also look at a small/half forward type.
JGM?
Jesse Glass-MacCasker. Picked up as a rookie by us in 2015 or 16. Delisted after 2-3 years. Signed up for the dogs VFL side a couple of years back. As I said, has added a couple of strings to his bow. Is rapidly turning into the type,of defender I thought he would become, and has added ruck and forward duties to his skill set.JGM?
Ottavi is a KPF/RUCK. Did a stint as sole ruckman earlier in the year. Had some good hit out numbers. Is 25 years old.Think my final top 10, for Carlton in order would be
- Jacob Edwards - 202cm KPF/Ruck - BIO
- Jackson Callow - 194cm KPF - BIO
- Joel Ottavi - 198cm KPF - BIO
- Blake Schlensog - 199cm KPD - BIO
- Ned Moyle - 205cm Ruck - BIO
- Tyrone Thorne - 169cm Mid/Forward - BIO BIO
- Zavier Maher - 184cm Inside Mid - BIO
- Charlie McKay - 186 General Defender - No Bio
- Matthew Hammelmann - 197cm KPF - BIO
- Alex Mirkov - 210cm Ruck - No Bio

Give me 3 KPPs
1. Max Heath (ruck/fwd) 18yo
Still at school, so will have a very limited impact but is a talent for the future. Developing ruck/fwd is a list need this year & into the future.
2. Blake Schlensog (kpd) 20yo
As mentioned earlier, killing it at South Freo. Exciting prospect, can potentially be a Jones replacement down the line & cover for Jones and Weiters. Our 2s have been running with Willo at KPD most weeks, need reinforcements.
3. Matt Hammelmann (kpf) 25yo
Dominating for Aspley in the VFL, seems the penny has dropped after being cut from Brisbane a couple years ago.
I’d remove Thorne, we don’t need another small forward/mid when we have Eddie, Owies, Durdin, and Fogarty. Also, I’d really consider dropping JGM into the mix. I know I was a fan boi when he was at the club, but he’s improved a lot since we delisted him.Think my final top 10, for Carlton in order would be

Didn’t Thy have the hots for his mum and went to loads of VFL games to spectate?Jesse Glass-MacCasker. Picked up as a rookie by us in 2015 or 16. Delisted after 2-3 years. Thorne, is an elite prospect, speed and skills... Just really, really small...I’d remove Thorne, we don’t need another small forward/mid when we have Eddie, Owies, Durdin, and Fogarty.
