Sure there's a sense of romanticism having a son play for the same team as his father.

However, I can't think of any other sporting league which has a father/son/daughter concession. Not sure you could call say a Celtic fan passionless because he is supporting a club in a 'heartless, soulless' competition.
Whether is be the NFL, NBA, PremierLeague or whatever, I doubt whether their leagues are the lesser because of it.

But the reality is that this is the direction the AFL competition is heading. Free agency was just the beginning.
Yeah, but this is the AFL and we like to do things the Aussie way.
Do you really want to end up like the Premier League. Those clubs are heartless and soulless. How many Englishmen are playing in the EPL.

The American leagues are the only relevant ones, as they're the ones with drafts. I'd need to look it up with soccer, but I suspect most sons of stars begin at their dad's main club. They do in non draft basketball leagues. It's a really nice tradition.

Is this your own or did you get it from somewhere?

It's my own. I've been doing it for a few years and try to keep doing it as it keeps me familiar with the names going into draft night.

Takes a bit of stuffing around trying to hunt down updated lists and inputting them but anyway 😅

Obviously the order after 30 gets a bit flakey but it's better than nothing IMO!

I really like it

Well, well… what would you know even JHF’s coach just stated he has struggled to find easy uncontested ball and needs to improve this ability.

The same thing I’ve been talking about all year.

Something I’ve been lambasted for by some..
What would he know?

It was always line ball between him and Horne, no championships for Nick and Horne performing strongly might have just pushed him above.

Nothing wrong with that, just how things have gone with covid.

According to people involved with recruiting thats not correct see below.

It’s a shame we will lose pick 22 as it might have gotten us a look at Campbell Chesser from Sandy Dragons.

Did some research on him today after hearing him on Cal Twomey’s draft podcast. Has a heap of speed on the outside and breaks lines with run and carry from half back and a good user of the ball.

Sounds like the type of player we need to look at to quicken up our ball movement out of the back half.
