Every year I go into the draft hoping for a couple of particular players. This year:

Rhett Bazzo: 197cms KPD. However, he also is a great intercept mark. Think Sam Taylor

Toby Conway: He’s 204cm ruckman. We need some backup with Lynch & Cox leaving (highly likely). It’s also important to try find Grundys replacement / assistant.

Toby Murray: He’s 198cms ruckman/forward. He’s very mobile for a man of his size. I guess he would be competing with Begg & Freddie for future spots.

None of these players should go in the top 30 (hopefully).

Individual players in the draft and trade time of the year give us endless speculation material but I hope the club don't neglect list balancing. We have a very wonky list in terms of age and depth distribution.

I must admit I still like some of the classy things Paul Curtis did in both of these games. Dib was also exciting through the midfield.
