If we are pursuing McLean, I really don't thing Bing is in our plans in the near future. Getting McLean presumably means they see Marshall as the long term ruck, but it still leaves a tall forwardline. King, McLean, Membrey and Sharman. I can't see us planning to trade away 2 x 1st round picks to add to an area which we would be really well stocked in.
Right now I'd probably back a combo of Ming, Bing, Marshall, Members, Coops to give defenders nightmares.
If said players have the speed and agility then being tall isn't really a disadvantage and if we've got Snaggs and Gresh buzzing around then we're dangerous AF..

Interest from Carlton and Collingwood is set to play in the mind of Western Bulldogs midfielder Patrick Lipinski as he weighs up a contract extension tabled by the Dogs.

According to AFL.com.au's Cal Twomey, Lipinski has been offered a three-year deal to remain at Whitten Oval until the end of the 2024 season.

A spicy and outlandish rumour on the main board that Weitering has cracked it over the treatment of Teague and wants out. Even on the 1% chance it has legs we should get on to his management and throw the kitchen sink at a trade.

If we don’t get McLean I guess it’s still a possibility, but if not, I just can’t see it happening. Clubs very rarely would play four talls, let alone five in the forwardline.

No probs. Maybe you did the red nosed, rainbow haired one George is referring to which I can only imagine looked something like this 😄

LMAO, that's what I pictured in my head. ****ing hell.

I'm asking Lipinski + What Would You Want to make a deal?

Lipinski + Late 2nd?

We know they've liked Long in the past.

Straight swap, we'd win. Lipinski averaged 20d and 1g a game in 2019, similar numbers in 2020 (adjusted for shorter games) all while being behind Bont, Dunkley, Libba, Macrea, Smith etc. Not bad.

Long has put on some massive hits and taken a few speckies. Which i love. But... Hasn't even had 5 games of consistent performance, let alone 2 seasons.

Jack Henry and Ratta go okay as well. Ay some point they have Constable to take obver from Selwood etc too. They haven't been developing a group underneath this time which is what always kept them up in the top 8 year after year but have gone the short cut route lately.

Constable taking over for Selwood, is a bit like Dunstan taking over for Hayes.

Trade Whisperer rolling with that one. Interesting question nonetheless: what would you pay in salary and picks?

I just don't think you can read that into it.
Firstly we don't know if the club is in to him. Secondly, even if they are, we can't say that it's to be a starting 22 player.
Right now we just want an upgrade on Punter to bridge a gap till Heath comes along and offers more than SFA if he plays seniors.

Yeah, we don't know if we are into him. We're talking about a hypothetical situation. We know even less about whether we are into Bing and/or if he is a feasible trade option. From what I've seen of McLean, he wouldn't be coming over as a depth option. He's playing well in a finals team. If he comes, it's to play in our team I imagine. I'm not saying Bing wouldn't be nice, it just seems to be more of a romantic dream of fans than a feasible option for the club I think.

I don't rate him, he's a nice defender when he's the lose man but he's not great at 1 on 1s and we already have Howard for that plus wilkie.

We need a good solid 1 on 1 stopper.

Brander is no good, stop bringing his name up lmao - if Battle can’t get a game then what’s his shitty clone gonna do?

Also watching McLean right now, not only does he look identical to Row he even has the same movements and running style

He's got the *BT voice* Long Levers same as Marshal. Takes the ball eerily similarly.

If Luke Parker can do this or close to this for another 2 - 3 years and then drop off a bit in his last year, offer him 4 years.

Sam Powell Pepper, seems to be abit on the outer at Port. Think he would be a good acquisition for us. Would add some toughness and flair. Wonder what it would take to get him
doubt he would want to leave after last night's performance

BS had reasonably good mail at times so hope he's right on Hopper.
Unfortunately, like most ITK's, he was drinking his own bathwater all too often.
Like a few more on here mate , you only have to read the comments under their user names to see how much they value their own opinions
