People that believe that not having depth in a role might cost us a finals berth will complain about drafted types. It’s insanity.

Would he be a Potential Brown replacement as a small defender,

Definitely given the Nationals was the first time he's really played that role.

Hasn't played a lot of upper level footy until this year due to his rowing commitments Australian representative.

Are there any mechanisms left to take a developing ruck this year?

The question would be do we need one, Anyone we choose will be Behind OBrien, Strachan, Thilthorrpe and Himmelberg,
With OBrien and Thilthorpe potentially being around for a 5-plus years.

Edit and If any of them went down with a bad injury we have the opportunity to get a replacement rookie either before the season starts or midseason

We have the worst midfield in the competition. We need as much talent and performance pressure in that part of the ground as possible.

Our main issue is we need multiple Top 10 mids, not Pick 50 mids.

But given Hamish tends to fxxk up picks in the top 10 and nail some beauty’s in the 40’s and 50’s…

maybe we actually do need picks in the 50’s more..

Soligo looks a real talent.. Taylor hasn’t played a game yet but geez his late sanfl form once he got over his injuries looked bloody exciting..

And I reacon Rachele will end up a gun midfielder..

pedlars definitely a potential gun.. but his body is a worry..
