I think the 2 things that stand out as flaws in his recruiting are indigenous talents and KPFs. That is over his entire tenure too.

I’ll also admit that I’ll be so frustrated if we miss out on both Lemmey & Scully (and Busslinger).

I rate Jefferson quite highly, but personally, I believe we really need a taller dominant key forward.

(We’d need to get Keeler somehow to make me content with that result)

I don’t think Jefferson is big enough to be what we need. He’s more a second key. We need the big guy. I don’t want us to tank, but I don’t want to finish 9th or 10th either… we need the stars to align somehow.

Depending on who’s available, I wonder if Sydney would be interested in trading their two first rounders for our future first?

Would leave us with 3 picks inside 20.

If JDG also goes then it’s potentially 2 picks inside the top 10 and two more from 15-17.

plus maybe even Brisbane’s first would make it 5 top 20 picks
