Would have been better off taking a punt on another rookie. Ben Davis is a known quantity. We've had half a decade to determine he's not up to scratch. That's more than enough time.

We already have a bucket load of kids in the Sanfl and can’t give them all opportunities. Davis filled a hole as an older head in the Sanfl and will end his time this year

You seem hung up on this year. Davis shouldn't have been on our list last year, or the year before that.

Interesting take on Keeler , and he doesn’t look overweight in the photo taken just 3 weeks ago to me ! Looks skinny even

Think you are wrong there, I saw him a few days ago stuffing himself with cream cakes, I'd have him at about 110 kegs.

Clubs would be mad to take him before pick 41

This is quite a good read and I agreed with a fair bit of it

Not Munkara , Broadbent so much

I’d have Jefferson and Jakob Ryan higher

I know this is very old news, but it is peak Adelaide Crows to miss out on a top 10 talent through an academy system which has recently benefitted other clubs before the rules changed just in time to not work for us.

Howso?
Not a Macca clone but plenty of similarities. Was the first player to jump into my head after watching his first 2-3 games, and that was before I realised he wore the number 14.

More similarities than differences I reckon and a lot closer to Macca than Pedlar.
McIntosh was a burst straight line runner with a long driving left foot.

Soligo is an agile 360 degree footballer who's as comfortable outside the contest as in.

I think they're pretty different.

If we pumped the games we gave to Murray this season into McAsey we would know more. We absolutely shat on his confidence, and just left him to rot in the SANFL the same with Worell he should have had more games this season in the AFL
Cmon.

I'm a McAsey supporter, but I've done more this year to be deserving of an AFL opportunity than Fish has.

Not everything is the club's fault. It really feels like they're bring McAsey's confidence and mental health back to a more positive place with how they're playing him.

Would there be a way to get Hopper without giving up our first in both years?
Jesus, Hopper would only be one first, at best.

I think you try to do 2022/Doedee/Crouch for JHF and 2023 for Hopper.

Trade Sholl and our future third for Carlton's 2nd, and grab two players and Max in the draft.

I don’t follow the kids until later in the year but seems like this draft year is pretty good depth wise? Particularly mids?

It’s just ok , don’t reckon it’s the strongest year and that’s understandable with development slowed by 2 years interrupted covid
