Would have been better off taking a punt on another rookie. Ben Davis is a known quantity. We've had half a decade to determine he's not up to scratch. That's more than enough time.
Didn't we bid in the Draft on Hopper ?Hopper would instantly be our best midfielder by far
You seem hung up on this year. Davis shouldn't have been on our list last year, or the year before that.We already have a bucket load of kids in the Sanfl and can’t give them all opportunities. Davis filled a hole as an older head in the Sanfl and will end his time this year

Interesting take on Keeler , and he doesn’t look overweight in the photo taken just 3 weeks ago to me ! Looks skinny even
PerrymanDidn't we bid in the Draft on Hopper ?
We have alot of cash to spend is the positive in thisArticle says Adelaide. Nicks connection.
Cats, Tigers among clubs at head of the line for Giants star
Geelong, Richmond and Adelaide are the clubs vying for Jacob Hopper should the Giant request a trade this year.www.theage.com.au
I know this is very old news, but it is peak Adelaide Crows to miss out on a top 10 talent through an academy system which has recently benefitted other clubs before the rules changed just in time to not work for us.theinnersanctum.com.au - This website is for sale! - theinnersanctum Resources and Information.

This is quite a good read and I agreed with a fair bit of it
Not Munkara , Broadbent so much
I’d have Jefferson and Jakob Ryan higher

We aren’t in a position to just go local
However - Phillipou in the mix with Hewett Wardlaw and Tsatas I reckon at our pick which likely ends up pick 4 when brisbane leap frog us
What are Brisbane doing?
Matching a bid for Ashcroft - likely pick 1 , at worst pick 2What are Brisbane doing?
I don't think that's what's happening.Others were postulating that the mood was sombre only because they were about to dissect two dismal losses
McIntosh was a burst straight line runner with a long driving left foot.Howso?
Not a Macca clone but plenty of similarities. Was the first player to jump into my head after watching his first 2-3 games, and that was before I realised he wore the number 14.
More similarities than differences I reckon and a lot closer to Macca than Pedlar.
Cmon.If we pumped the games we gave to Murray this season into McAsey we would know more. We absolutely shat on his confidence, and just left him to rot in the SANFL the same with Worell he should have had more games this season in the AFL
Jesus, Hopper would only be one first, at best.Would there be a way to get Hopper without giving up our first in both years?
It’s just ok , don’t reckon it’s the strongest year and that’s understandable with development slowed by 2 years interrupted covidI don’t follow the kids until later in the year but seems like this draft year is pretty good depth wise? Particularly mids?
