Unless he's had it recently. Or do I have that wrong?

Think that's correct, if you've tested positive in the last three months you're exempt from having to isolate as a contact.

The other possible out is if Durdin himself is a close contact rather than a positive case. Say he'd stayed with his family for a day or two before returning to the sharehouse, and then one of his family members tested positive - he'd be considered a household contact, but unless he returns a positive result too then his housemates wouldn't.

More likely scenario is that he's returned a positive result and his housemates are now close contacts though.

With the intensity we've been playing at and the opposition we've been dealing with this could be a flogging in our favour. Time slot and venue swings in their favour a little. But if this was satdee at the 'G' we'd be licking our lips lets face it.

Suns have beaten a hapless eagles? hmm.

GC have been a semi thorn in our side for quite some time. Often due to our own misguided self belief or lack thereof.

This year has already thrown up a ton of surprises. Hopefully this isn't another one.

Cmon baggers. Blues by 38.
Anytime, Anywhere!

Tickets acquired. Let's pay the mediocre Suns back for last year and pile on a big win.

Won't be easy as they're competitive and lift against us, but I'm hoping we finish the weekend at 4-0.

Crippa to continue his dominance and Jorge to keep Touk cool all game to come away 5-goal winners.

Not saying during is available but it is unusual the the cfc website has not announced any details, when cerra was a handsp the club updated everyone. Thought we would get the same with durds too!

Yes it’s odd - it’s unlikely Tom Browne has it wrong - but also unlikely Carlton would hide it too - so it’s very possibly a grey area case where the club is seeking clarification on the rules and seeing if Durdin can still play

It’s happening to every club and will continue to do so all throughout the season I’d imagine. We’ve just got to back the next guy to step up. We’ve got good depth in the midfield, flank and pockets but it could be a problem in the ruck and key forward/back positions.
The next guy up mentality is such an All Blacks and Melbourne Storm thing and I absolutely love it. I really hope it turns into the same thing for the Baggers!!!

Or we're waiting to see what might happen with others, and make announcement at team selection...

Not so sure about the venue being so much in their favour... didn't we knock them off the last time we played them there? I remember 2019 we lost to them by like 2 points... 2018 we beat them up there.

They probably figure they will just announce it with the teams tonight. Saad and Cerra were different as team had already been named so required separate announcement.

I just got a text from the club saying some who had attended the presidents function have tested positive in the last 24hrs.

That could possibly be a vector.
