The problem i am seeing with us trading pick 1 for lots of later picks is that we probably wont have room on the list to use all of them.

Isn't next years draft class supposed to be pretty good? If we stockpile more picks than we can actually use this year by trading, i'd like to see us trade them on to a WCE or STK or another team that probably wont be in the top 8 for future picks.

We will probably be delisting a few more of our senior players next year, Zeibell, Greenwood and maybe Goldy to name just a few. If we can get a few more high picks in a supposedly talent rich draft when we actually have room to bring them in that would be good management no?

We probably wont improve much next year and maybe we could have another crack at some more PP's. :tearsofjoy::tearsofjoy::tearsofjoy:

Unfortunately the teams who seem to need more picks in the 12 - 25 range this year are Geelong, Brisbane and Port. Not much joy there.

We can't use a "bounty of picks" this year anyway, as we are running out of list spots.

Futures yes but anymore picks this year would need to be bundled up for something else.

We can always move some low probability players to the rookie list.

Agree with this - points 1 and 2 are the benchmark to compare how much value we have extracted from the 2 deals we have going atm and we should come back to this on Wednesday night to see how we have performed - ie have we caved, have we done better etc.

In terms of 3 I am meh on Clark but if we are interested in him and he wants to join us then 19 sounds right on the money.

Well done HTR.

If Eagles bid on Harvey at 19 they can have him.

He is valued in the 40s-50s.

The one thing he is missing is the blistering pace of his father.

You need to watch more - Coopers first 20 metres to get out of traffic is as fast as Boomer. But when you can win your own footy and have the strength to break tackles you don’t always need his dads speed all the time. The kid broke his wrist twice this year and the first break was mis diagnosed setting him back 4-6 weeks. If he plays a full year he is top 25-30 without doubt.

Not sure what Port are playing at here , when you manage to get a “ generational talent “ to nominate you as a trade destination while they are under contract then you are obligated to do whatever is necessary to make that happen .

The fact that they are trying to pull this shithousery is fu***ing disrespectful to our footy club.

If I were Brady I would tell Ben Williams that we’ve given Port the parameters to get this done but they’ve done sweet f**k all to make it happen . They now have until close of business on Monday to get us what we need or we walk away & you will be informing Jason that we will see him for 1st day of pre season . End of story .
