Wasn't Poulter one of the kids they picked up from the picks they got for Treloar or Stevo?

  • What's his versatility like?
  • Leg speed is an issue?

I was super keen on us looking at Poulter when I realized he was OOC this year but when I brought him up to my mate who played with him this year he described him as extremely selfish and that he played only for himself. Makes me wonder if this is the reason he's left without a contract because imo he has shown he's able to produce at AFL level and still has plenty of upside.

2nd chances can do wonders for a player whose attitudes needs adjusting.

Not sure we need another player who doesn't want to play for his mates, didn't work out very well with the last one.

and
That's the second article this Seb bloke has written today quoting Cornes.

Imagine that your job is to listen to Cornes each day and then write about what he says and except anyone to take what he says seriously (and what you're writing about). Poor guy.

I feel like Jed is better than about 10 players on our current list.

He is.

However he will cost more than those guys in terms of cap space, doesnt have the scope for improvement of those guys and plays a position where we have both a number of options as well as developing types we'd like to give more opportunity.

I like to play that game where you align a player to an animal

Dippa- bear, Because he’s big and cuddly

Archer- tiger, because he’s hard and tenacious

Daicos- snake because he was always lurking and ready to pounce

Corn- pig.

Very nice looks like Daicos and *** are represented by the same animal but for different reasons.

So Polec is fit apparently, much to the chagrin of plenty around these parts I am sure. Jared is best 22, celebrated his 30th birthday last week.

I hope he can get back to his best, he's an outside type with run and a booming leg. And we need his type, we have LDU, Cunners, Simpkin to go get it. Not many to give it to.

A new recruit after 2.5 years of injury concerns. Crikey.

509 disposals, 101 marks, 53 tackles for us in 2019.

I hope for his sake he can get back to his best and prove a lot of people wrong, myself included

Well happy birthday young man.

2019 eh? Geez, seems like such a long time ago. A lot has happened since it would seem. Not a whole lot of it good for the mighty NMFC unfortunately.

Let’s see if Jared can remain in one piece beyond the first training session this year.

Essendon Football Club has today announced further list changes with Cody Brand, Brayden Ham and Alec Waterman not offered contracts for 2023.

Fit for a contact year. Who would have guessed.

Any club who falls for it, should sack all who are involved in signing him, like we have.
