I was super keen on us looking at Poulter when I realized he was OOC this year but when I brought him up to my mate who played with him this year he described him as extremely selfish and that he played only for himself. Makes me wonder if this is the reason he's left without a contract because imo he has shown he's able to produce at AFL level and still has plenty of upside.

Imagine that your job is to listen to Cornes each day and then write about what he says and except anyone to take what he says seriously (and what you're writing about). Poor guy.

He is.

However he will cost more than those guys in terms of cap space, doesnt have the scope for improvement of those guys and plays a position where we have both a number of options as well as developing types we'd like to give more opportunity.
