Didn't really know where to post my thoughts and musings on this one but I think here will do.

Firstly, I feel like we should have got more, so I'm disappointed like many of you.

Next thing, I think it's clear we wanted JHF gone ASAP. His attitude has clearly rubbed our playing group the wrong way and many of them wanted nothing to do with him once he requested a trade. I know many of you wanted to keep him an extra year, but good luck juggling a kid with a shitty attitude around players that don't like him and want nothing to do with him. Holding him an extra year and playing hardball sounds great in theory when you remove all human emotion, but in reality it wasn't going to work. Can you imagine the amount of energy it would take to try and galvanize a group that has a bloke who everyone knows doesn't want to be there, and the players don't like anyway? The sulking and lip he gave ON THE FIELD was disgraceful enough, imagine forcing him to come back to a club that he's betrayed and what he'd be like when the cameras aren't on him.

I'm conflicted with the Cadman situation. On one hand, it seems we rate Wardlaw, Sheezel and Tsatas in the same tier, and we're trying to lock in two of them - we don't rate Cadman in the same tier which I totally understand. I can sympathise with those who want to lock in a young key position forward and see this as another missed opportunity to do that. Personally, I think Wardlaw and Sheezel are the two best players in this draft so I'd be going best available with them.

Ultimately, I think we tried our absolute best to get a better deal for JHF but it just didn't happen. We decided that there's no chance we wanted him to hang around and negatively impact on the club and playing group for another year, so we shipped him off for the best we could get.

In 3 years we will have a better idea of who won this trade.
After I've calmed down, I agree with this. Think we've already won the trade because we don't have to put up with that rat for another year.

I watched TAC here n there this year. I believe Jefferson is the better KPF in the draft. I know you are the guru but Jefferson is no mug as a KPF

So our next objective is to try and get pick 21 from the Lions who will need it as part of a pick to get Dunkley. So do we help the Lions get Dunkley who will be ours if he goes to the PSD or do we go after Clark?. Are our picks in the 40's better for Brisbane or not? What else will we need to offer to get Clark from St Kilda if we get 21? A future pick no doubt but which one?

Just gotten the help of a local witch doctor and enabled a curse to be placed on a certain ex player. Will see how it plays out ,
How many players in major sporting competitions worldwide get traded because they're homesick?

I'm not putting down genuine cases where is affecting a players mental health, but it does feel like it's just being used as a card to be able to nominate where you want to play footy.

Remember when we thought we were gonna get a priority pick to go with 1?
And that was with keeping the rat campaigner 😂😂😂

F*** I hate this league and our club has no one to blame but itself.

In a way that snake suited us. Both weak, spineless, too afraid to be bold. Where the dog campaigner has us covered though is he weaseled his way to getting what he wanted. And we’re left with our dicks in our hands happy to let a load off into the spare sock because it provides us comfort when we get fleeced time and time again.

Onya Brady! My club my home!

So let me get this straight..

We could have traded JHF for 8, F1 and change.

We could have traded independently with GWS for 1 for 3 and 12.

Leaving us with 3,8,12,F1 and change.

Now it comes out we are looking to shop 3 for multiple picks, when we could have had that exact scenario quite easily, with two in lieu of 3, with Rawlings on record stating he rates the 3 very evenly?

Surely it’s clear we rate the top 2 very evenly, not the top 3? If we downgrade pick 3, pick 2 seems to have been the key piece.

What the hell is he expecting for 3? West Coast literally just got 8, 12 and f2 and F3 for 2…

Still, this seems like complete amateur hour.

At the end of downgrading 3, it’s unlikely we are going to be in any better position than we were a week ago, despite dealing 3 very valuable assets that other clubs were desperate for.

This stinks like they are buttering us up for the final act of trading pick 3 for Clark.

Please, someone take the keys to the club away from Rawlings before he consigns us to a decade at the bottom

I swear if we trade 3 after this, I will sh*t a chicken. I almost want trade period to end no so no further damage can be done. If F1 or 3 is involved in a trade for Clark I might have an aneurysm
You are aware we can trade picks up until the national draft day?

Not a guru at all mate. Recruiting is a game of educated guessing, some just have access to a little more footage and information than others, but if you've watched a handful of games you can form an opinion that has some weight behind it.

I'm not huge on Jefferson but definitely understand how people are bullish on him.

Wait! We dont even no who GWS want to take at pick 1, we assume its Cadman, but since when do clubs draft on a needs basis at pick 1? Maybe they rate Wardlaw as the best player and select him.....
