They doubled his offer in the last 2 weeks to 500k p/a.
He was offered 250k.
Sam Edmund reported it earlier in the week.
No way they get a first round pick.

Ah. Gee, that’s a pay increase thought isn’t it? No wonder he wants out. 250k? I’m out. Ok then, 500k.

The fanbois will be up and about now though. 2 goals and apparently he’s being played out of position. Can see why he knocked back 500k, and why he’s got his eye on Snoz’s war chest
Well if we go into next year with no new CHB we are fecked.
If you manage to spot a better CHB available than Logue hit us up.
He is best available this year easily.

He is being played out of position, if he comes across he’ll be a defender, judging him by this game is foolish

We are still clearly above the 500k figure.
Its hard to ask for great picks for a player you offered 100k less than the average wage.
He must be on nothing now for Freo to offer 250k for next year.
I think he is ours.

You’re thinking of Acres I think. The talk on Logue is he passed on 500k a year.
No mate, he’s remembering this correctly

DOCKER OFFER UNLIKELY TO BE ENOUGH

Fremantle upped its offer to $500,000 a season for Griffin Logue but it still won’t be enough to keep him at the club as Victorian rivals circle.

Logue, wingman Blake Acres and key forward Rory Lobb will put in trade requests when Fremantle’s campaign finishes, with the Dockers still well-stocked for talent given the emergence of No. 1 pick Jye Amiss.

Logue’s initial offer was about half of that figure but Victorian clubs including North Melbourne are clamouring to secure a lockdown defender who can go forward.

Watched the first half of the Pies Dockers SF hoping to see what Logie has to offer. Must have blinked and missed his single possession. Hope he’s coming cheap…..
How good was Ben McKay as a forward!

Yeah, I’d say we’ve been in this one for a while.

Just so we all understand the relative foolishness, would it be foolish like when we traded in Jonathan Hay on good coin and a multi year deal, or just foolish like when we took Polec on a $4M deal and got sweet FA in return?
Sure, he fills a need but hopefully nobody gets carried away and sells the farm

Are we selling the farm for him?

First I heard of it.

We have nothing to trade for him and he’s knocked back $500k at Freo. What do you think the deal is going to be?
It ain’t gonna be john hay type that’s for sure

2023 2nd round pick gets it done.

Former pick 8, 195cm KPD, done his apprenticeship (60+ games) and ready to sit at CHB for the next 7 years.

Going into another season with Walker or Bonnar expected to provide coverage as a KPD is not an option!

Imagine being Viney & Clarkson, and having people compare your list management decisions to the Jonathan Hay trade in 2005.
