"I'm sorry Dave, but Ratts has to go"

You know you are just like the opposite version don't you? You and gummy try to argue how great everything is and I fire back. Superiority of the hypocrite at it's finest.

I just can’t do the constant harping on the past.

Yes, we’ve been sh*t, for ages.
Yes, we’ve drafted cr*ply over many years.
Yes, we’ve made many, many mistakes…

But what’s done is done. Can’t change history.
All we can do is pray that we’ve learnt from past mistakes and that the people we have in place make the right decisions now.
Otherwise we might as well just give it away.

I'm happy with that. I've been trying to argue for them not to ruin the future today.

It's funny you see it that way. I don't think I harp on about how good everything is, more trying to argue everything isn't necessarily a crisis like you label it. And you probably post on here about ten times as much as I do.

There are a few of your type to argue with.

But you’re coming from the position that you just know they’re going to screw it up…before it even happens.

I get it…we‘ve been burnt plenty, but it doesn’t automatically follow that it will continue.

Maybe it’s just me, but I have to balance the realism with a little optimism for the future otherwise it would do my head in.

With where we are at we need to be aggressive with our current list if those opportunities arise.

The only plays I consider “must keeps” are.

King
Steele
Sinclair
Windy
Owens
Marshall
Wilkie
Mckenzie
Hayes
Long
Sharman
Crouch
Higgins

Whilst some of those names might surprise, they are based on effort and intensity as well as talent.

I am not saying trade everyone else, just listening to compelling offers for them if they arise. This includes the likes of Gresh, Hunter and Coffield.
100% agree!

Should be your nic. Or energy vampire.

Is that the plan..?
Cant be the plan as McKenzie could go from 5 to 10.
If we got 5 for Clark we would get McKenzie for certain, but I can already here the bleating from the usual suspects if we did.

Anyway wont happen. The club has not put Clark up for trade, and will keep him unless we get something like 2 high firsts or better.

Hang on didn’t you just start a new thread with a very positive some may say rose coloured post. A relentless defender of the club in the black knight mold.

Why aren’t we heavily into Stocker?
Why aren’t we heavily into Bruhn?
How do you know we are not?

Edit: Lol, the third person with this response !

No the thread said IF we are going to improve this is where I think it needs to come from.
