Never really found a lot of it at VFL level

I doubt he find a another home

He's an inside mid that never got a go there. Probably has to go back to a VFL club and play a year or two as a mid to get his value back up now.

Exactly what I wrote a few ( hundred) posts ago.
“Acceptable behaviour” is a very grey area.
Have they listed every possible infraction in acceptable vs unacceptable columns.

They can use anything they want to justify it when they decide they want his salary off their books as they chase someone new and sparkling in two, three, fours years time.

JDG just has to look at Treloar, Stephenson and now Grundy as perfect examples of what could happen in his future.
Isn’t that what they want clarity on?

Whispers coming out of club land this evening is that Danny Sexton has been appointed as the new forwards coach.

Make of it what you will.

You are not getting likes because all of us have this little bit of fear that it might not be a joke. Danny is teflon.

My ITK status has been revoked now that old mate Matty Finnis has left. I'm looking forward to making up any old shit now.

Except for this of course.

According to the article…but jeez where do you start?
You can get p*ssed in public. But don’t dance naked on the table. ( unless it’s in Las Vegas on holiday.)
You can grab someone’s ar*e but if you touch the breast, you’re toast…

I mean, how long is a piece of string?

Thats why we got rid of Stanley and Hickey and kept Longer.

Ryder is one of the key reasons why we have even been close to success in the last 3 years.
unfortunately he was too good. papered over the cracks one might say. the old bugger was only meant to mentor ro, not break his back trying to carry us to finals success

Win win. Either the Pies board go back on their word and the tail wag the dog, or Degoey goes to a club that respects his basic human right to have legal benders every now and then.

It’s a board decision now.

The Collingwood board have to either reinforce a decision of their own football department or agree to De Goey’s demand.

It’s that clear cut.

A big NO for Grundy from me. We desperately need a part time ruckman who can play as the 2nd tall forward and Grundy nor is Marshall that.

Surely we can find a player on the out skirts of a side without getting tied to a 5 year contract.
the debate on how good a forward Rowan Marshall actually is is one that I would be interested in seeing unfold over the off season, divorced from the rose tinted glasses and bias that comes with the actual season.

He has looked spectacular forward at points, taking big clunks and kicking goals from 60. We laud him as the ultimate ruckman who can GENUINELY go forward rather than simply resting there. But how good is he actually as a forward. is anyone handy with stats that can help shed some light on this?

I agree.

JDG has moved partially. Surely the pies move.

Don't think he's ever kicked more than 12 in a season so I'd say as a forward he's below average. His best forward work is when he drifts in with the play.
