Only if the Pies match, which I don't think they will. They've been burnt on Grundy, so they likely won't offer him more than 2 years. That's if they match what St Kilda seems willing to pay for him.

I think in Degoeys ideal world, he wants to stay at the Pies. But our offer could be too good to pass up.

I know this has been said before, but will reiterate
There are no real ITK's, just people who may know one or two at the club, that may tell them what they think
Others my have friends or golfing buddies, or running partners who have contacts.

What most do is relay what they know to be fact at the time. Lots of stuff would be told in confidence and not put out publicly

It keeps the forum alive for discussion, after all the time they have been bagged for info, I don't, think they are looking for kudo's.
Anyway carry on. Most whispers never come to fruition.
I am still waiting on Kelly and Heeney to arrive.

Our offer must be that its extra $'s because no draft picks are involved. If the Pies match then its no go.

From memory, Dees have done it twice for Oliver/Weideman, then Jackson/Pickett

If Hill leaves for Norf with the highly rumoured end of 1st Rd pick coming to us for him, that’s 2 top 10 picks & 2 picks in the 20s…

Then just hit the draft & take 1-2 free agents

I’ve said it on here he is looking to get back at end of next or quite possibly end of this year to south Australia. Also said Byrnes and Bytel looking for new homes. Byrnes not many takers so far.

Jokes aside, a few of those blokes are doing ok. Hind can **** off, seeing his interaction on the bench with Rutten makes me think he’s a bit of w***er. McCartin would probably get a game with us at the moment. Hickey’s first half of the season and last year we’re pretty good.

As unrealistic as it is, if either of McCartin or Hickey wanted back to the club and it was for peanuts, I’d say yes.

Sounds like because he doesn’t take it seriously and the players are pissed off with him. The way we play looks divided this year. Makes some sense.

If true, I like the fact that the players are not happy with someone not fully invested. Time to let him go - don’t need that attitude at the club.
