They just signed Liam Jones and will likely have so many key forwards they will have to play one back if they are to fit them all in

Prefer him to Hartigan as a back up

Hopefully we take a key defender in the draft also, but at the moment if Howard goes down we have nothing

I am happy to move Hill on if we can, we are not competing any time soon, happy to free up cap space and play kids next year.

As for Clark, not really fussed. If rumours are true that he is sensitive to the feedback we gave him, he is no hope of making it as an AFL mid.

Ablett was told he was not working hard enough in 06. Had a hissy fit, stormed out of the club, they were genuinely concerned he would walk.

Came back the next day, stepped it up and became the best player in the comp.

Don't think Hunter has it in me. Agility seemed worse than ever this year, all whilst putting on zero muscle in 4 years.

Agree. Cordy is better than Hartigan and just entering his prime.

Is Busslinger another Gibcus? Would be good. Only issue I have is I’d love another top 10 midfielder and I’m more wary now of the interstate kids.

I dont think he is Robinson Cursoe on that front re poor disposal and decision making occurs when there is no forward entry sytem other than bombing forward, no forward structure with no movement. Develop both and THEN decide if a player has poor decision making and skills.....

Not sure I've ever seen a player look further from the level. He has played two years and Sandringham and he hasn't played a single good game. If he doesn't get moving next year he'll probably get de-listed with a year to run on his contract.

Cordy v Hartigan. If these are our only options then Phillips or Busslinger are an absolute must have.
