TBH I'm no longer 100% confident we win. The emotional cannonball those players took on the weekend will be hard to get up from, especially for a single dead rubber game!

I wouldn't be surprised if we see one of the most putrid performances in 3 years. And TBH, I wouldn't really blame them.
Prior to the Swans match, I said that there was no way we would lose to WC after beating the Swans.
Afterwards, I am no longer sure. Quite apart from the mental consequences of the last match, it seems now that WC are full of in-form premiership players. McGovern will probably clean up our attack, Kelly looks ominous, and Cripps is also back to his irritating best.

North Fans convinced they’ll have picks 1,2 and 3. What an embarrassment of a club. No other league in the world has the draft manipulation that the AFL does.
Where does pick 3 come from? I understand pick 1 and 2 if they get the compo for McKay, but not sure how they would also get 3?

Speaking of Wilsons' Billy had a big game again on the weekend for the Dandy Stingers..your speedy running defender maybe?

Remember his Young Guns game when he was on fire?

Several Dandenong Stingrays starred in the Vic Country v Young Guns representative match at Ikon Park on Sunday.

Billy Wilson, Kade De La Rue, Sam Frangalas and Harry DeMattia each strengthened their draft credentials with eye-catching performances for Vic Country.

Wilson took his usual aggressive rebounding defender post and took marks, took grass and weaponised his leg-speed to get involved multiple times in attacking chains.

It was a statement game for Wilson, who started the season outside of Vic Country but has been seen by the Rays as one capable of pushing in.

Combined with his scintillating start to the year and the upside several clubs see in him, he looks close to a lock for Vic Country selection.

Jeffcrowe you see many SA boys with this kind of rig?
Yep, the other Wilson goes under the radar for sure. I’ve got him top 30, particularly after a couple of standout games in the Champs too

There'll be somebody there, top 10 players are usually good - there are always good players to be found.

Mutineer has indicated Darcy Wilson could be good, he'll be right in our range if Sanders doesn't drift down the order.

Pick 9 is likely to be 10 or11 after gc academy

Lachie did his best Papley impression in this game, looking dangerous every time the ball entered the forward 50. He took marks, crumbed off contests and drew free kicks like all the best small forwards do.

I hope we can get Gold Coasts pick and keep ours to use on Wilson.

That should be the goal. 2 top ten picks this year. Bring recruiting forward aka Melbourne as long as they feel a need/ right level of talent
