lol. Go straight to about the 16 minute mark to hear Bucky's assessment of Carlton's performance.
Prior to this, he bangs on about how good the Crows are going and brushes briefly on Ross Lyon.

Another that just rants after a loss and focuses on negatives during wins

Did similar in bloody match sim, and a practice match.

With Pommylovescarlton, hetalks tactics, methods, structures, etc. Love his content, way more balanced

The entire footy season is a wonderful escape from life's routines and hardships to me.

Cincotta > Plowman - No brainer... Offers aggression, pace and foot skills, that Plow just doesn't offer.
Binns > Honey - Offers aggression, determination, goal kicking and endurance, that Honey just doesn't offer.
Kemp > Saad? - Talk he may be injured, if so Kemp's next in line. (Last week showed us, what taking under done players offers)
Dow > Hewett - Showed his hand is still underdone... Time to let Dow off the leash and say just go out their and hunt the footy and chase and tackle.
Durdin > Fisher - Durdin a lock down defender with great foot skills, will let Weitering play, 3rd tall interceptor. Fish needs to go back to VFL and find some heart and form.

Premierships aren't won in round 6...

If McGovern, Saad and Hewett aren't right to go, I'd 100% rest them...
We want players cherry ripe for the back end of the season and final's...

We have enough class across the ground, the in's would just need to play their role...

Can we call this a must win game at this point of the year? Kinda feels like it I mean we have WC the week after so we should be 4-1-2 or 5-1-1 before we get a run of:

Brisbane, Doggies, Collingwood, Sydney, Melbourne, Essendon*?(hopefully faded by then)

Maybe not a must win as we can redeem ourselves over this stretch but surely we want to be hitting top form for this period of the year to setup finals/potentially top 4.

Tough run but I wouldn't call it a must win. We'll win some of those tougher looking games.

Brisbane aren't that good in Melbourne. Doggies hit and miss and very beatable. Our 2 x Collingwood games last year were close. I think we match up OK vs Melbourne.

A big thing will be the state of injury lists for those games...our injuries are starting to pile up and we could fall in a heap. Or we could get players back and go on a run. Collingwood, Sydney and Melbourne all have injury issues right now, who knows what state they'll be in though when we play them.

It's interesting the difference a couple of weeks makes, after the Geelong win you look at the draw and go saints form will drop once they play a few good sides Adelaide were going terrible and Brisbane have been shocking away from the Gabba we should be odds on to go to 7-1-0 and basically lock down a finals berth mid season.

Since then Adelaide hit form and beat us, St Kilda still look solid and even Essendon have popped up to say hello to potentially add to that tough run through the middle part of the year.

You want to get ahead early in the win:loss ratio and this shapes as a key game to maintaining that through the season.

Will be close I reckon - except I dont think Kennedy was fit to play either...and I dont think Fisher gets dropped - yet.

Was not surprised at all by the Cows loss. They are a team on the up, with basically a fit list and were always going to be really up and about, considering they were starting off gather round in front of their fans.
Things that concern me.
1 Why are they playing George when he is clearly under duress with his broken hand?
2 Why when we are crying out for some run and carry out of defensive 50, not play Cincotta. He is playing great in the two's and has a bigger body and ready to go. Surely he debuts this week.
3 Kemp is another one, good form in the two's. Especially if McLovin is not fit, he should play in defence.
Actually even if Jeremy is right to go, I would play him forward in Jacks role. He can't do any worse, in fact I would back him to do better.
Coming down for this one, first time this year. Was at this game last year where they beat us on the spread, but we basically shot ourselves in the foot by being so inaccurate.
Blues by 16.

Continuity over rules rewarding fringe players apparently and Jeremy is a mod and unfortunately not on our list.

Vossy has my number. I am waiting for the call.

Better stretch the hammies. Though be warned...mine aren't much better than Mitch's. Last time I stretched them I strained them...

I really do expect to see a fired up Carlton team here. For a lot of reasons we need the four points, but a win would also silence some of the Carlton hating trolls on the main board.

A lot of them have gone into overdrive with this whole Carlton should've hired Ross Lyon over Michael Voss talk. Why do these simpletons care so much? This is an issue that should only be of concern to Carlton supporters.

To be honest with you i think Ross Lyon is bit of a muppet as well. He was circling like a vulture, while David Teague was still under employment by us. A classless act by a classless man imo. Just get out there and destroy them Blues!

Not sure about that.

We got beaten primarily because we kicked badly. We kicked 10 - 18 and had 28 shots to their 23. Quite a few of their goals were coast to coast from kick ins.

How many opportunities did Adelaide get going coast to coast last week?

They even got a shot on goal from kick in completely uncontested...

So this game is effectively sold out? I can't even get standing room tickets. I have a GA membership so I'll still be able to get in but assume they'll just restrict GA seating bays, right?

Also if anyone has a GA ticket they don't want/need I'd be happy to buy it off them.

Wouldn't be chalking up the Perth visit as a win just yet either... 😉
