And Pou named on the ball. So getting there slowly. He’s been more and more productive the last few weeks
Brad Hill gets named at CHF most weeks so wouldn’t exactly be taking the team sheet as gospel.

Instead of Bergman, what about Howes from Melb? In best most weeks for Casey and gets good wraps but can't break in past established players only a few years older.
Sandy Dragons. Played with Mitch and Windy. Would surely cost a lot less than Bergman.

What’s his contract status

We definitely had kids in the midfield in the Adelaide match and it wasn't an instant success. Kids under 20 games aren't likely to all of a sudden flick the switch. We need to keep getting games into them in less exposed positions until they are ready to take over. Steele didn't have his break out season until 6 years into his career. He was showing a lot before then as a tagger though.

Deven Robertson was tipped to go at about pick 8 and was a Larke medalist. He looked awesome in his draft year. He's going to struggle to get an inside mid role at Brisbane and looks like another Jack Steele type pick up. Kai Lohman and Bailey Laurie stood out in VFL games that I watched.

I’d kill to have ONE of what they have three of. They’re setup for a decade in the most important area of the ground. If they’re happy to have Clark rotate between HB-mid Hodge style that’s fine but we need to find some young potential full timers.
Surely with King and Caminiti back it’s time to give Owens more midfield time.

Jack Steele was a very slow burn, not many mids have such an average first 6 years and then just go bang and become AA. That was a bit if a surprise for most of us.

There are plenty of mids that have an impact in there that early in their career. Most of the best mids were getting more of a taste in there then our guys in their second year.

No one expects these guys to be playing full games in the midfield, but Pou has had 2 centre bounce attendances in 5 weeks and Owens is only getting his opportunity as a 190cm second ruck.

I'd love to see Caminiti go in the ruck and give Owens a chance to spend time in there. Aren't too many 19 year olds who can get as much contested footy as him.

Which kids went in there? Almost all centre bounces were Steele, Ross, Crouch with some Sinclair and Clark thrown in. The only other non backup ruck was Phillipou with 2.

So was Stocker.
So Hammer and Stocker, but getting bagged for trades that haven't and aren't likely to happen.

James Gallagher was still list manager when Stocker was asked to train with us last year

And let's be honest, we got absolutely kissed on the dick with Caminiti with son of SOS spilling the beans on how he dominated Weitering at training.

We will take it though. I'm willing to give him time, he did some very good things at Carlton but also some woeful calls as well. I hope he has learnt from the bad decisions and can improve our list.

I saw kids on ball in there, I'm not watching again to prove a point. You can go back and watch if you like.

I get a bit sick of the 'Clark is not fast enough' stuff. He finds a good amount of ball, can kick well on both feet, is tough and has an amazing ability to get the ball out of congestion. To me he's just like David mundy and no one complained about his speed.

I never let facts get in the way of a good story either.

Bytel went in more than Phillipou
Yes he did with 5. That’s still a low percentage of kids. I just get a bit frustrated with the lack of development in the midfield because I think we’re tracking ok in the other areas of the ground but I’ve been saying it for 10 years.

If the midfield underform's this week they have to swing the axe and I don't care who they axe.
Steele , Ross have been very average and Hunter may do a few good things but his opponent is killing us.
Crouch has been doing his job but nothing more.
Time to change things up Owen and Windhager have the hunger , even Bytel.
Just to show how bad they have been playing they have to throw Sinclair in the guts to attempt to fix things up and if this continues someone has to be moved to let Sinclair to take over - Gresham when in the middle is just not consistent.

When the move does come a few of the more experienced players are going to be devastated but that's football.
Same goes with Membery he goes missing in games and to tell you the truth we may be better having Hammer in than him.
Having King , Hammer and Owens with Gresham , Higgins and Butler may be our best forward line.

Don't get me wrong Membery is a good player but they have to produce the goods if not they can play at Sandringham with Billings and Cordy.
