Nah Ollie is going well before our 2nd pick and maybe in the low to mid teens

Alger Angove Unwin more the ones at 28 +
Benny Barrett hopefully gets a shot preferably before the Powa nab him as a rookie

Edit*

Funny how Evan Bradley fell off the AFL radar after a couple of decent Nationals games too?

That's why I personnally don't want him for the Crows. We need pace and he doesn't have it. That's not to say he won't be a match for another team, just not us.
At the very least, I want the midfielder we draft to have a good athletic base, even if it’s not pure straight-line speed

Langford is not that guy

Cant see him going top 10 with that time jeepers
Nah, still think he goes top 10, probably not right at the pointy end now, but it only takes 1 club.

Cripps 3.23 and Bontompelli 3.20 odd tested ordinary too.

Its a shame. I dont want him so was hoping he would be at pointy end to give us bit more choice at pick 4 from the 4 we want.

Smith is as good in traffic as anyone in the draft, clean and skilful as you say, with a good athletic base. Not overly handball-happy either (though his kicks tend to be more short and well-placed)

Draper has more straight-line speed and is more penetrating by foot (though hitting targets is more hit-or-miss), at this point he is more strongly built too

I’d be happy with either, but I have Draper slightly ahead for what we need (though the speed in midfield issue has been helped somewhat by acquiring Peatling)

Do you think think can put on the size needed to be a mainstay on the inside?

Or his he more a wing with the occasional stint on the inside at afl level?

I’d say he can. Even without the size this year, he racked up the possessions for Richmond’s VFL side against bigger bodies. The initial query would be how he’ll hold up defensively, but anyone with such a natural read of the ball has an excellent chance of succeeding at the highest level

Langford will be fine in the right team. Exceptional overhead and is dangerous when playing forward. Strong and above average skills.
Actually think he would be good for our friends down the road, will give them a better left/right balance through their mids (they are all predominantly right-sided at the moment).

That’s an interesting development. There had seemed to be a top 4-5 names often mentioned - FOS, Draper, Lalor, Smith and perhaps Langford (Smilie dropping) - so interesting they would be open to missing these. Makes sense for Kangas (need talls) but Weagles surprising.

Saints in an ideal spot to get 2/3 in that case and even perhaps Freo at a stretch. As long as Power don’t jump us and take Draper…
Wouldn’t read into it too much, gets said every year.
