Keep in mind you could also argue do we need another small midfielder given Soligo is a lock and Taylor could potentially be a starting midfielder in the future.

Personally I’d rather we not overthink our list composition too much when it comes to our future midfield. Just take whoever you think will be the best player regardless of size. A surplus can quickly become a deficit and vice versa.

Unfortunately the player we need Sam Lalor will likely be gone by our pick so hopefully Draper is there.

If he gets within reason fit then I agree

Reminds me of 12 + months ago when we thought we needed a petty type for defence but turns out we were fine with Murray Worrell and Keane coming thru . We could have burnt early capital on a supposed need

Let’s just pick who We think will be best mid for next 10+ years

Totally agree with this. If they like Langford more than Draper at 4 I'm happy for them to back themselves in and select Langford.
