I will actually be shocked if Thilthorpe plays this year. And tbh I’m almost wondering if he should

It's not like we need rush him back for finals...

Would be good if he can at least have a few weeks in the sanfl, then few afl, even if we need to sub him out.

Parnell's injury shows why he can't be an AFL player

Fluffed a regulation tackle and almost had his arm pulled off in the process. The other players are just too big for him and he physically can't compete

The thing is, if he was some ultra talented player you'd put up with this. But Parnell is barely a depth player. Decent kick but that's about it.

Any chance at all that Schoey could get back to his first year form and give us something?

Could do with a bit of that right about now.
Given what i have seen of him he has lost some speed and that initial acceleration which was a vital part of his armoury,

I think he will need this year and the summer to get it back if he can get it back at all. Achilles are a terrible injury to get.

That's always the issue with that type of injury ......I think we can wipe off this year for Shoenberg

At least he's young enough, and hopefully has the work ethic to get the speed & acceleration back

That is primarily a confidence thing, surely? When you come back from a long-term injury you're always going at 90% until you come to trust your body again.
