If we are excluding those top few that won't get to 7 I'm warming to smilie. Still think Lalor would be the best option but he's most likely gone unfortunately.

Smilie as a big inside mid could be amazing for us and being able to rotate forward with owens and pou means he can play a lot early

Wouldn't want him to end up a H.B. flanker though, like some experts? are suggesting, but his highlights video, seemed like he was playing more mid. & looked good.

Think it’s more along the lines of he suits what we’ve drafted previously. Don’t actually think it’s direct rumours of we like him. I don’t mind him, good off half back was o-k in the middle the games I watched when he played midfield was very minimal mid craft and seemed to hack/panic in tight situations. He’s not one of my favourites only because I see his best afl position as a HBF and I think we have that base covered. Only an opinion though.

Turning pick 8 with maybe 24, into grabbing T.Hotton & Lindsay wouldn't ruin my sleep.
From highlights only, T.Hotton reminds me of Kelly-gws- all class, didn't see the speed comparison with Judd though, although he does have the long arms like Judd.

Very ordinary champs. Looked a bit lazy. Maybe not quite a mid or a forward too. Some say he'll be a third tall back. Huge upside but could be a real bust too.

True what if they are the best of the draft but have issues with injury and we can't get more then 5 games a year out of them and we drafted them knowing about injury concerns and left players like smillie and Reid on the table
