The draft is very even.

But no genuine midfielder has challenged those 6 mids at the top. Only talls have come on
Langford definitely has, for one…

I don’t think it’s anywhere near as cut and dried as some are making out.

But what would I know, I’m retired.

Okay Langford sure,

But no one else from those genuine mids.

The talls have come from nowhere and in abundance.

The rest are all flankers claiming they can be mids and yes I count Lindsay.

You do you gramps, if spouting nonsense is your thing fill your boots.

You're the one telling me the top 1-6 is tripe and you and the rest of the illumanti know where all the real talent is hidden.
Feel free not to listen, cowboy.

Most don’t.

You go be angry with someone else.

I still don’t think Lalor is a genuine mid, so there’s that.

Not angry, you disagreed with my post well with in your rights to do so, added your snarky jibe at the end.

I asked for some form of evidence to align with your opinion.

You said you don't have to have evidence because trust me it's all a conspiracy and no one actually does their own scouting.

Not sure how to have a reasoned discussion with you to be fair.

I’m not high on him in general. But he is about to go top 2 and likely pick 1 😂
Which would have absolutely blown minds six months ago.

The draft is a strange beast.

Alright dudes. We’re all in it together. Apart from all the Saints suck doom, divisions, everyone having their own clear black and white player views, Jack Higgins, Murphy Reid, the Sandy rookie, Hickey over Longer, Trout being a legend, and the new Saints crest.

Otherwise, we’re all happy families.

Good point, & good try

At least we can agree on that.

Toodles.

Totally irrelevant, but i can't hear Toodles, and not remember Tony Martin, playing Hugh Grant , playing Chopper Reid.
Is it some sort of sign that we will take Murphy Reid. Can we nickname him Chopper?

No it's not. I would also say he is going better than MacKenzie taken at 7 as well, Clark at 8 and Gibney at 9 as well.
Cayman, Ashcroft, Sheezel and Wardlaw have probably shown more, but not by much.
If you are saying Tsatsas, Clark, MacKenzie and Gibney were all tier 1 it proves my point.
Anyway if we got Tauru he has been touted top 5, and Reid is just bagged by some for their ego's. I have been keen on Reid since the champs and nothing has changed my mind.

Convenient for your argument Holland was selected 11 in 2022.

That’s my prediction Tauru and Reid, in years to come everyone can look back and marvel at how bloody lucky we were.

For the newbies like me, Barrels has street cred, if he posts I’d listen 😊

Also not looking forward to the post draft letdown, when we start talking about tanking for next years picks.
And by 'we' you're meaning GWS?

I'd rather Chopper, and another mid. But if Tauru is best available its ok i guess.
Absolutely no-one on this forum wanted us to take Naughton when we got Clark and Coffield.

To reunite everyone with happiness & joy again, Essendope just came to a 6 figure settlement to get rid of Dildoro after he took them to Fair Work.

That’s right, the bloke that fkd that club for two decades just gave them a final poking before doing a runner.

Now we just wait til he decides to write a book… that’s when the real fun will start

Dodoro is like Freddie Kruger from Nightmare on Elm Street.

He keeps returning to haunt them.

The bloke has been a dead set liability to that club. Extraordinary that they kept him for so long. And then he sues them when he’s finally shown the door. 😂

Happy to be proven wrong, everything I have seen pretty much has the same 1-6 outside of North taking Taaru.

Hit me up with some wide spread rankings that show otherwise.
Wide spread rankings of players 1-6 available (removing the A+FS)

Phantom Form Guide: Reid #5 (Smillie #8)
ESPN: Travaglia #5, Lindsay #6 (Smillie #8, Langford #9)
Rookie Me: Reid #4 (Draper #7)
