Tauru, Reid, Armstrong, Dodson and Boxshall would be a really exciting group that's possible from this mock.

The ESPN phantom has Saints trading 8 & 47 to GWS for 15, 16 & 21. Would they really do that?

But then drafting Reid, Armstrong and Dodson would be unbelievable. And Moraes has been my smoky for a while. He looks like he can play and he is a livewire.

If this happened I would be elated. But it seems to good to be true.

Would prefer Trainor to Moraes

Trainor and Moraes have question marks. I think Trainor could be the best player in the draft but also a concussion bust. Moraes was a top 10 pick at the start of the year. He had a disappointing Champs but probably one of the best 10 minute periods of the champs where he went nuts and looked like a genuine match winner. Moraes reminds me of a shitter Connor Rozee but has some of the same traits.

Who are the best tall forwards of all time and how tall were they? How many elite back-men are 2 meters tall? We have become obsessed with height when realistically most people start turning into uncoordinated spuds once they hit 198cm.

That's very true, but l can't let go of getting a midfielder or two this year. Maybe I'm wrong but it just seems like too much risk not to.

We could extend the time before we take Tauru by bidding for both Essendon and GC Academy picks, after they match, either club could offer us 2 x F1 for pick #8, so could WCE, all NM can do is F1 and F2

GC need points next year so they won't be in the mix. WC also need to hold assets for Warner play next year. NM would need approval for trading F1 and F2, can you even get AFL sign off for that in the 5 minute pick window?
