Up to Hattie and Schoenmaker to prove themselves.
Nobody is handed anything on a platter. These new kids are behind them as it stands right now. If they overtake them, so be it. They’ll push each other. It’s called competition.

You know Battle was drafted as a forward, right where did he end up? You know Gehrig was a backman at WC? And theyre far from the only players ever to change position. I’m not pigeonholing either of them.

Why do you think the club didn’t go the next level of mids and took these two instead? What do you think their reasoning is? Pretty sure they weren’t just thinking let’s just piss off the BF board.
Watching the Saints-Doggies prelim on Foxtel before the draft; hope Arie is watching loads of BJ footage.

Think tigers can take risks with this draft haul. They will be ordinary again but wouldn’t be surprised if they shoot up the ladder in 4 to 5 years. They also can attract talent which we struggle with.
Attracting talent they can but I'd give a penny for the thoughts of Tim Taranto tonight. Is that really why he went to Richmond? Baby sitting kids through the next 4 years...and the resulting 20k less crowds.
