Worst club at the draft is a toss up between north trading a top 5 pick for 2 second rounders

Or

The bombers for trading out their first rounder multiple picks before their academy kid was bid on

That we had two picks before them spooked them - SOS has a history of bidding early (unlike the gutless wonders at North, Adelaide and Carlton this year)

How can the AFL approve that trade? It’s literally a top 3-4 pick for pick 27. That’s a disaster

Because the AFL cannot, in good faith, say that North will be a bottom 4 team. Look at the Hawks this year.

Now, most of us can see what's coming, the AFL peeps just can't say it out loud.

Imagine how crazy it's going to get when teams can trade TWO years in advance.

List managers and coaches are going to be mortgaging the future just to hold on to their job for another year!

Still on the board:

Jobe Shanahan
Kayle Gerreyn
Alex Dodson
Jack Whitlock
Hamish Davis
James Barrat
Christian Moraes
Harry Ofarrel
Hugh Boxshall
Jack Ough
Luke Urquhart
Angus Clarke
Josh Murphy
Tom Gross
Tom Sims
With a list like that, wouldn't be surprised to see Richmond sell the first pick of the second round for another future first.

Lousy draft for key forwards, Faull was first taken at 14, Armstrong tumbled to 23, poor Whitlock's gone to Norf at 27, other Whitlock and Shanahan still on the board despite the first round being an absurd 27 picks.

By extension is that Caleb Daniel for a top 5 pick?

Great trade at the end for them but I thought Richmond drafted strangely. For a club that is going to struggle to win a game in the near future they sure took some risky picks.
I thought Richmond cleaned up - and just watch them get another future first for their start of second rounder.
