Seems to be playing in the trial…
I was thinking Finlayson maybe. Let’s see what comes of it.

Probably the only player that could possibly be ruled out for the season without a season ending injury. Still doesn’t seem like a true rumour though.

Something like that would make the decision to give Dixon one more year even more of a no brainer.

Hugh Jackson didn't play in the intra-club match apparently due to injury. Ratugolea limped off halfway through. Logan Evans late.

Jackson Mead went off with the blood rule, and got his head bandaged up and sent back out.

Tyson Goldsack on Esava Ratugolea going off after the first half:

“We're not not overly concerned (about Esava). Just a little pinch on the knee. We expect him to be okay for next week. Whether or not we roll him out next week will be up to the medical team. He's done a lot of work so he's hasn't missed much footy at all over the summer. We’ve got two more games (in pre-season) so whether or not we choose to play him or not."

I believe `pinch' usually refers to discomfort and swelling to the cartilage of the knee due to sideways movement or jarring from an awkward landing, but given the smoke and mirrors style of reporting injuries at Alberton in the last 12 years or so that may not be the case.

He’d require a clean out if that’s the case.
