There other NGA's going ok also, plus young Peckett is looking the goods. Agree it will make the delisting/trade periods interesting.

Likely -
Allison delisted
Paton delisted/traded
Campell delisted/retired
Heath delisted - needs to take some huge steps to remain.
Plus as has been speculated there may be another traded out ala Clark/Jones.

Trade in - Ruckman

Draft - mid, ruckman/forward/small forward.

Rookie - Cole & Peckett
I think those who stay or go will become obvious by the end of season. One thing I'm enjoying with our current management is they are simply doing the obvious and if SOS has learned or is prevented from burning high picks then l have good faith at the moment.
I wouldn't write off ditching Bonner if he continues on form. He's listed as a FA so l assume he only got a 1 year deal.

Talk on the draft board is a shallow top 5 and a deep top 30 so far this year. Hopefully we can try for 3 picks in that range and an NGA/FS later on.
On F/S watch; Peckett had his best game of the season on the weekend with 25 disposals (equal 2nd highest for the Stingrays), 6 marks 6 inside 50s and 4 tackles.

We could finally have a decent one here.

Geelong v Dandenong Game: Dandenong dominated poss, but their forwardline is a shambles, now it was windy but they couldnt kick a goal to save their lives, Dandenong was playing with Geelong for the first 2 3/4 quarters and couldnt score, Geelong got some momentum in the rest of the game to kick 6 goals to win in a very low scoring game where Dandenong dominated, Geelong were helped by some umpire home bias to get them over the line.

*(MSD) Joe Pike(G)
most draft likely: Cooper Hynes(D), Harvey Langford(D), Elwood Peckett(D), Xavier Ivisic(G), Lachlan Jaques(G), Harrison Doughton(D)

botts your boy is rating around late 2nd round ATM, not that l pay much heed to that this time of year.

Yeah. I don’t mind that assessment. I just know the character of the kid and family. He’s a big United with great skills and leadership. Watch him climb up that draft board.

Will be interesting to see if Peckett, Hoffman and Linder are named for the VIC metro practice match squad. Will tell us quite a lot given the size of the squad.

Is Peckett a defender like his dad?
Those numbers look more like outside mid stats

Watched the first 10 minutes of the Stingrays game on replay to see what he looks like. Peckett looks a good size. Was playing as a centre bounce midfielder. Good size. Mainly was getting handball receives and giving off the hands himself. He didn't look amazing, but it's hard to tell much at all from such a small sample size. The numbers look solid.

Peckett is Vic country. The other two I don’t think will play Vic metro.

Both he and Everett have already got a decent frame…Peckett’s about 187cm & Everett 184cm but likely still growing

About time.

So far we have mainly just been racking up the Grandfather/ Grandsons. But there is no draft discount for them. :(

He’s a mystery…no one seems to know where Boston’s playing
Carey play Caulfield Grammar next Saturday in Round 0 (WTF?) next Saturday (20th)...assume he will pop up there.

The way it works now, you're best to have a few words with the family, let them go when bid, then trade them back for a 3rd round pick when their first contract runs out.
