When is everyone expecting to finish their teams?

I just did the math, going off rough projections and assuming no injuries I should be going into round 15 with only F6 (Sexton) needing upgrading

Plan so far is this week Dawson, next week Zorko, week after that sideways Oliver to Serong and then round 15 get my F6, issue is that’s when Rankine would have the bye so maybe I hold off a week.

9 trades left before upgrading Sexton in that scenario

Round 15 with only Sexton too.

10 trades after

Yeah, more incentives to tackle

All the big tacklers should score well this week, as the umpires will over correct
You just know it ....there'll be HTB decisions everywhere

Steele, Piggy, Rowell, Serong, should all feast .....oh why isn't Tommy Green playing this week ....hang-on, Green isn't a highly ranked tackler ...WTF !!

I'm surprised that Xerri is top 5, but I'll take it :)

My team will be done next week with 9 trades left.
Planning 1 or 2 luxury upgrades in rd14 to improve my on-field scores and my rd14 bye. It'll leave me with 6 or 7 trades (maybe I'll grab Zorko when he bottoms out and move somebody like Jackson to F7)

Who are your 6 Forwards?

Who are your 6 Forwards?
Heeney, Flanders, Jackson, Reid, Fisher, Greene (Harrison, Freijah)

Heeney - no words needed.
Flanders - no words needed.
Jackson - scoring will be up and down, but it's inevitable that Darcy will be injured again so he'll have some massive games
Reid - confident he's a keeper, even though his scoring will be up and down, and he may be rested again, role is great, little bit of KOTD action too.
Fisher - also confident he's a keeper, even when Kerch comes back. Sheezel isn't stepping foot in that back50 again, so it's Fisher and Kerch's ball back there.
Greene - worth a crack at $400k. Just need him to average 85-90 and it's fine for F6.

Zorko can come in in a few weeks when he bottoms out, and I'll move my weakest forward to F7

I'm praying for a decent team selection this week:
  • Graham named
  • Harcia named
  • Mannagh or some cheap rookies named

Am I asking for too much?

Sorry mate, but I'm praying that none of the 3 you mentioned get called up.

Bring on the carnage!

Surely Mannagh has to get a chance, 4 losses in a row and he's dominating the VFL

Damn now I'm back to square one. LOL

I was all set on going with NWM but then all the Sinclair moving to half back news scared me off.

So confused right now cause I know I'll end up picking the wrong one. :(

I've got both now, I started with NWM and traded in Sinclair last week, I think they can both score well playing at half back.

Hopefully they shift Bonner up to the wing or out of the team altogether so that he doesn't keep stealing their half back chips.

If you could just pick 1 mate out of the 2 who would it be and why?

So if the Pies name Ned Long, trade him in & put the C on him then.:moustache:

Now that they are around the same price I would pick Sinclair. I picked NWM ahead of him at the start of the season because he was 120k cheaper and Sinclair missed the pre-season games and Round 1 but now he looks to be back to full match fitness again.

Hawks coach Sam Mitchell said he will consider utilising Finn Maginness as a tagger to negate the influence of Crows star Jordan Dawson this weekend.

He said: “I think Jordan Dawson is as important to Adelaide as any player is to their team in the whole competition. His ability to take the game away from the opposition, you saw it in the first quarter last week.

He’s gonna be a massive player for them and we’re gonna need to curtail him. Wether that’s with Finn or with a different matchup, I’m not sure just yet.”

Have seen a few things mentioned about Sinclair's niggles, but a positive sign is that his TOG % is actually higher than last year at the moment.

Judd_Magic I also prefer Sinclair to NWM. Sinclair has proven he can score well in multiple roles, whereas NWM hasn't really proven he can score big consistently when Sinclair goes down back. Think there's more upside to the Sinclair pick.

I wonder when Sinclair will permanently move to half back?

He said this week that he will move back to half back as Crouch and Clark will come back in.

Does that mean this week though?

Sinclair has the runs on the board compared to NWM if I'm trying to find something to split them. I do like how NWM has been playing though but surely Sinclair steals some of his kick in's when he moves to half back.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but can’t see Garcia coming in. Didn’t even play VFL last week.

Oli Hotton might get a debut. Membrey will probably be back after 6 goals

Any reason that Sicily isn't in the convo? Has a pretty good run coming up then North and the Tigers as his last 2. Dale has been solid too
